lineup for Aegis of the Crossroads, for some of the outfits she’s acquired during the campaign! details under the cut because i cannot stop rambling about my beloved tiefling daughter

full regalia: formal temple vestments of an ordained priestess of the lady of the crossroads, for performing ceremonies and leading worship on holy days. i’ve agonized over exactly how to design her vestments wanting to strike the perfect balance between the ancient greek priestess style that was my original inspiration, and the catholic-esque aesthetic that has bled into her concept purely by virtue of being Fantasy French, lmao. alternate versions include a longer veil and sleeves during cooler months, and of course less ornate jewelry for more informal services, or for just being casual in the temple or around town.

in exile: from the greatest heights to the most wretched lows!! blinded, named heretic, and exiled from her home, all of aegis’ fine jewelry and vestments were immediately sold to pay for food and shelter, leaving her with no choice but to scavenge to survive. (not pictured is the absolute disastrous state her hooves are in, after a year without proper management and shoeing.)

beginning adventurer: SHE SOLD HER SOUL FOR THIS OUTFIT!! ON ACCIDENT!!! ok, technically not her soul, but since the party ordered custom enchanted armor without the funds to back it up, we got Strongly Suggested into picking up a very powerful and dangerous package for the enchanter as “payment,” and she put a blood curse on aegis to keep track of the party and ensure follow-through. so like, KIND OF sold her soul for it.

desert badlands, part two: part one was already posted with the rest of the party’s hot weather outfits, but since we started on a new arc in a new part of the desert, of course it was time for a new dress.

nightgown: what started as an intention to have an example of aegis’ undergarment dress sort of evolved. or devolved.

effeuiller la marguerite: haha get it. because her birth name is marguerite. marguerite means daisy. anyway i just wanted to draw a garter belt.

hellbent: idk i was just like “what if we go to the hells and aegis has to pretend to be an archdevil as a disguise” but i think i just wanted an excuse for leather mommy aegis. dm still hasn’t answered me on which of the lingeries is going to make aegis’ gf sweat the most though. it's this one, her gf is a bottom.

My coworker completely misreads our maintenance guy’s vibes… he sees a big fuzzy bearded dude who works outside and thinks he must be super macho, completely missing all the bisexual tabletop gamer coding in his mannerisms. So when maintenance guy and I greet each other like high camp theatre nerds with a series of bows and flourishes and made-up titles, coworker is SO visibly confused and thinks I must have trained him to do this.
