this kdrama is so crazy like... what if u knew since u were a young boy that ur father had been grooming you into being a killer and the minute u make a deep, genuine connection with another 16 yr old girl he completely destroys it by killing her parents and attempting to kill her because he had to 'get rid of everything that made him weak' and still u chose to stand with something so innocent like young love and the genuine love ur crush's/best friend's family had where all u had known/thought u deserved of was this abusive, violent patriarchal figure's manipulation of value and so u choose to reject the values ur father tries to instill in u and the discipline he's been brutalizing u w even though ur older brother had already succumbed to this logic all bc of this genuine one relationship where he felt Seen and Whole with a girl he's now forever connected to for better or for worse because ur dad killed her parents and she understands how u were a victims too and holds no ounce of blame towards u but it's still so hard to let urself love her bc ur haunted by the ghost of ur father and his legacy and wonder if u too will turn into a monster bc it's in ur blood

#even tho @ every opportunity he's gotten he's chosen the “right” one. #and they both literally live their adult lives with their parents' ghosts(s) looming over them.. talk about a soul mate

There is a way that ppl on this website talk about religion that makes me shake and twitch my eye. The notion that these last 300 years or so of an "atheist" empire have been less violent or divisive than any other point in history is not just wrong but borderline offensive. We are currently living in the most ecologically destructive point in modern history and we are literally witnessing the complete disintegration of community-living and its effects on us as political, social beings. pls get off ur high horse we are in hell
