Nie geseh'n (a.k.a. Ein Mädchen das so lächeln kann) in Berlin by Dennis Jankowiak and Angelina Markiefka, filming focused almost solely on Dennis. A.k.a. the one video that is filmed the way I always watch this scene. ;-) (If there is a good Alfred, at least. But since I tend to pick productions I see by the Alfreds, there usually is.)
I'm in a huge Dennis mood tonight, so there just might be a video spam of him as Alfred now. :-)

Gernot Romic as Alfred picspam, Act 2.
(Somehow I just didn't manage to fit in any pictures of that finale costume. :-P)

So I just thought the world needed Gernot Romic as Alfred picspam. Or maybe I needed it. Either way, here is the Act 1 part.
That boy's expressiveness...

Advent calendar: Reasons to love Alfred:
December 24: Because there are too many lovely ones to pick just one!
(I couldn't get the font sizes to match or all the captions to show up on the photoset, but as long as I got this done, I'm satisfied.)
And with today's entry I wish all my followers and other Alfred fans and Tanz der Vampire fans a very lovely and happy Christmas!

December 22: Because he's not afraid to wear a frilly pink coat when he needs to. Or a frillier light blue one, either.

It was particulary hard to find a picture that would suit this one at all... Hope this kind of works. I've been sick all week and don't have the energy to think about it more.)

Advent calendar: Reasons to love Alfred
December 18: Because it’s even in the libretto that he has a cute butt.
(Image: Sebastian Smulders and Angelina Markiefka as Alfred and Sarah in the Vienna revival production, again from the FB fanpages of one of them)
(And yes, I know that it’s in another part of the libretto that it’s mentioned. But in this scene it’s also very much necessary…)
