It’s a societal(and in most places legal) rule not to call people slurs, with the exception typically being those who it applies to(black people saying the n word, gay people saying f*g, etc), but I think we also need to establish that you shouldn’t call yourself those words in a negative context. Yes, most of them have been reclaimed, but they do still have hurtful intentions a lot of the time, and directing those hurtful intents at yourself is never good. I was feeling really bad the other day, and I just internally yelled at myself about being “a useless dumb fucking r*tard”, and it somehow hurt, even coming from myself. I don’t want anyone else to do that. I don’t want anyone else to have to face their own hateful feelings so plainly, especially not those who have to deal with hate from others.

I might be over analyzing this, but out of all of these, Toga is the only one who’s happy, and she died happy. Touya is still full of rage and trauma, Jin finally figured out he was the real one, but he was killed, Tenko’s problems are ongoing, and Izuku is well, the protagonist. Himiko died knowing she had the cutest smile in the world, and so here she is, smiling, and Ochaco is smiling right back.

Hello guys i have good news and bad news.

The good news that I'm finally in Egypt now with my youngest brother and the bad news is my mother and my other brother with his wife still in Rafah waiting to evacute to Egypt.

I used to pirate books because I had no access to a library, but then I got a library card and hooked it up to Libby and it has been a game changer. Libby is fucking amazing, and I’ve been reading so much more because of it. You get free(with a library card) books without the struggle of unreliable websites and links, it works offline, you can adjust the formatting, it’s just a great app, please download it.

"Don't use Libby because it costs libraries too much, pirate instead" is such a weird, anti-patron, anti-author take that somehow manages to also be anti-library, in my professional librarian-ass opinion.

It's well documented that pirating books negatively affects authors directly* in a way that pirating movies or TV shows doesn't affect actors or writers, so I will likely always be anti-book piracy unless there's absolutely, positively no other option (i.e. the book simply doesn't exist outside of online archives at all, or in a particular language).

Also, yeah, Libby and Hoopla licenses are really expensive, but libraries buy them SO THAT PATRONS CAN USE THEM. If you're gonna be pissed at anybody about this shitty state of affairs, be pissed at publishing companies and continue to use Libby or Hoopla at your library so we can continue to justify having it to our funding bodies.

One of the best ways to support your library having services you like is to USE THOSE SERVICES. Yes, even if they are expensive.

My Hero Academia Redesign Number 9: Iida Tenya

oh sapphic Jesus this man was trying to murder me. his costume’s not even that bad but I have a newfound hate for it because of how difficult it is to draw.

I couldn’t draw his body for some reason, and then after I finally did that, the armor punched me in the fucking face. I had to use a reference of mandalorian armor for fucks’ sake

Also, I had to leave the helmet out, because I was not drawing that thing for the life of me. Just assume it’s the same as canon.

HOT WEATHER VERSION:

fingerless gloves

idk that’s it he has a very not hot weather proof outfit in canon and I can see why it’s very hard to make a more summery version

COLD WEATHER VERSION:
