It’s driving me up the wall that the same people who demand that Israel be dismantled and call for “death to Israel” because it’s apparently an ethnostate (already a very dubious claim in itself), then turn around and praise/idolize the Islamic fucking Republic of all places!!!!!

Are you genuinely that disconnected from the reality of the situation? How far up your own ass do you have to be to not immediately see the massive hypocrisy?

It’s maddening to find out that the scholar who first developed the idea that “Zionism is Settler Colonialism”, Fayez Sayegh, was a member of the Syrian Nazi Party during and immediately after the Holocaust, was an active participant in the Red Scare, using it to demonize Israel as a manifestation of a Global Communist Threat™️ through the height of the Cold War (true to his Nazi roots, accusing Israel of Judeo-Bolshevism) before switching to a Colonialism narrative when Post-Colonialism came in vogue in the 60s. And yet, the people I hear parroting the talking points of this anti-Communist, Ultranationalist Fascist-turned-scholar are the people who are constantly talking about how Liberal Progressives aren’t Communist enough and actually enemies because “Liberals will always side with Fascists”. Maddening.

If you’ve ever noticed how the “Zionism = Settler Colonialism” narrative eerily shares the core components of the far right’s Replacement Theory (that there are 1. Jews 2. conspiring to invade a given place and 3. replace the population with Jews), this is why; it’s because the idea that Zionism is Settler Colonialism came from a literal Nazi.

It is very literally Nazi propaganda.

Sometimes i want to check whats going on there

Sometimes i want to reach out to my old friends from there and ask

Even watch some videos again...the videos id watch every single day...

But i know im going to be absurdly sad and miserable so i wont. Im trying to move on, so i wont. I miss those times but i have to aknowledge im heading to a better place now, and i want to keep it like that, i want to keep moving forward. I wanna be contempt with the belief that things will be better in the long run and i dont need to be there like b4 to know it. I pray everyday for that—

GOD IS NOT WHO PEOPLE TELL YOU HE IS

God is pure, pure unbridled goodness and love. People who parade around claiming Gods words as their own, and his will as their own DO NOT SPEAK FOR HIM. This is why it is so important to read the scripture yourself. I know so many people who don’t read, all they do is go to church or listen to what other religious people say. That’s not to say that all churches or religious people are wrong, but God speaks to your through his word. And the truth of the matter is that no one can truly know Gods will, or his plan. But we know that he has one. The only way to truly know and hear God is to read and listen. Because people will twist his words for their own gain, and we have to have the spiritual connection and KNOWLEDGE to hear that in their words. “The devil can cite scripture for his purpose” is REAL. Things can be taken out of context so easily and unless you have the Holy Spirit in you strong enough to tell you it’s wrong, or know the word well enough to know the true context of it, it can change your look of God. If you ever find yourself thinking that God isn’t pure goodness and grace and forgiveness and LOVE. You need to read more. Because he always has and always will be love.
