Update: we went home and my laptop decided to DlE :) so yeah no activity here... haha...

And they're here! My twins are born (gonna keep calling them Jade and Floyd on social media because it's fun and people don't need to know their real names), their mom is fine and I are fine so I might have some time to reply to old stuff and finish my multimuse blog since I'll be home for a while idk

What if Briar Valley had unorthodox courting traditions (à la kyou kara maou)? Like one day, Rollo shows up to Diasomnia dorm, proud and confident "I challenge you, Malleus Draconia!"

And there's a quite deafening silent. What would they fight with, asks Lillia and of course? Their fire magic. Rollo doesn't hesitate. Sebek and Silver begs their master to refuse it because it's a terrible idea and that human is not worthy, and maybe for a second Rollo thinks this concern means Malleus grew weaker. But he accepts, only if the gargoyles are present. Loud gasps. Rollo shrugs, if he wants talking stones to witness his defeat so be it.

"Then you both agree?" When Lillia asks (with a smirk) and they both nod, there's cheers and only Sebek and Silver are still objecting.

A confused Rollo learns that challenging a member of the Draconia family to a duel where both parts choose the same weapon is a proposal. A custom not really known to humans because only a fool would think to challenge a fae, especially the royal family. (NBC student council: don't underestimate OUR fool!)

Lillia pats Malleus on the back, happy to have been the one to see him get "challenged", Sebek and Silver cry, and Rollo has to show up the next day with his luggage and the gargoyles.

Magic user Rollo

I joke a lot about Rollo being a loser, but let’s not forget he is canonically a menace:

he’s a strong magic user. Very strong, much to his own disgust, very resistant and, let’s quote Idia, a bit too OP.

His Unique magic doesn’t just turn him into fire; it consumes people’s fear, confusion and distress. Fighting him is as exhausting as it’s dangerous, as it makes people burn inside and outside, just like crimson flowers. Ironic isn’t it?

when fighting Malleus, Idia and Azul he doesn’t care about the flowers feeding off his own magic, he has nothing to lose

doesn’t pass out despite how much magic he used/lost and how injured he is, just respawn 3 times like ‘tis is but a scratch

Made Malleus Draconia, one of the most powerful mage in the world, scared for maybe 0.5 seconds but still

Fought Malleus going all out and survived. Granted, both of them didn’t use their full power because of the flowers and it was UM vs ‘normal’ magic’ but he did that.
