I've made a new video on how to torture the Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster even more, to the point that it gives you Kefka as a playable party member.

Noragami Volume 27
The final volume of Noragami is out in Japan, and unfortunately, there were no bonus comics at the end. The only new piece of artwork from the volume was this color splash image at the front:

"Noragami" Fan Mail Address (updated)
A couple years ago I posted an address from Kodansha Comics that I found on Twitter for sending fan mail, but it turns out the specific one for Noragami has been in the back of the Japanese volumes all along and I just never bothered to read the corporate text page, lol. It's almost the same as the one I gave before, but the PO Box is different.
Gekkan Shonen Magazine Editorial Department "Noragami" KC Division 2-12-21, Otoha Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo, 112-8001 JAPAN
or:
〒112-8001 東京都 文京区音羽2-12-21 月刊少年マガジン編集部「ノラガミ」KC係 JAPAN
There is also a notice on the page stating to be aware that your letter may get passed to the authors along with your name and contact information.
So for people asking how to send Adachitoka fan mail and well-wishes, here you go.

hey there fast-moon! was wondering if you'd do translations for any sort of omake/bonus content in volume 27 (I don't expect there to be a whole lot tbh for reasons we talked about in another post but I'd be surprised if there's not at least some small goofy things to officially end the series off with~)
Yes, I'll put out the volume 27 bonus comics when they come out in February, since I'm assuming there will be the usual set at the end.

Hello! I wanted to know if you will be doing scans/translations of adachitoka's next work, whenever it comes out?
It depends. What I really want for them is to just take a break, because they were already having trouble maintaining Noragami's release schedule even after dropping to half a chapter a month, and I think their hand was forced to end it when they did.
So, if they do at some point start releasing another series, it's going to depend on whether the genre and scenario is something that interests me, and if the release schedule is something I can work with. I generally average about 10 minutes per page when doing translations. More if there's a lot of complicated dialogue or editing. Less if there's just like one line in a regular text bubble. So, if they go back to the 44-page releases for the next project, that's approximately 7 hours worth of work. The 22-page releases take me about 4 hours, which I can still pull off after work, but not the 44-page ones. I took the 5th off work for the final chapter, but I can't do that every month.
Plus, if the Kodansha app releases it simultaneously in English like they started doing with Noragami at the very end, there's really no point. I provided scanlations because there was no other way for people to read the series in English on release. But if it's available from a legitimate source at the same time as I would release it, I'm not going to duplicate their work.

Noragami Final Chapter
*wipes hands* Welp, there you have it. It's done. Chapter is translated and in the wild. Thanks to everyone who's kept up with the series until the end!
Couple translation notes at the bottom.

Page 20:
"Houki" (砲器) is a new shinki for Bishamon. Their name literally just means "cannon". Also, I don't remember Bishamon losing an arm and a leg since she seemed to still have all her limbs the last time we saw her, so I assume that's just the effect of the shinki glamor? Not sure what the "human" reading for 砲 would be, possibly "Nuiha" or "Zutsuha".
Page 25:
Teke-teke is an urban legend about the vengeful spirit of a girl who was hit by a train and cut in half at the waist, who drags herself around and kills people. There was a movie released in 2009 in Japan based on it.
Page 37:
A lot of the text on the signboard is unreadable, but the gist seems to be they're looking for a woman who knocked over a baby stroller on 7/10 (so since the final page says it's currently April, it's been a while). There's a jar of dead flowers next to the sign, so it's possible the ayakashi is the spirit of the baby, much like the spirit of the girl Yukine found early in the series.

Noragami Final Chapter Raws
It's here! It's the end! This chapter isn't numbered and is just called "final chapter", but it would technically be 109, I suppose. There's a LOT of talking in this chapter to tie up loose ends, but I also took the day off work to work on it, so hopefully I can finish it in a day, since it's twice as long as normal.

Still messing with the Dissidia Opera Omnia asset files. Discovered that the animations are all held separately from the models, meaning you can mix and match animations and character models. So I made Leo do Terra's BT attack. He is beauty, he is grace.

"Oh no, the show whose iconic monster is a giant pepper-pot with a plunger and egg-beater for arms is being too silly."
I counter that for too many years, the show whose iconic monster is a giant pepper-pot with a plunger and egg-beater for arms has been taking itself too seriously, and got so bogged down in its own lore it stopped being fun.
So bring on the singing, dancing Muppets and monsters that are clearly just a guy in a rubber mask. This is what I've been missing.
The Mavity thing is godsent honestly because it's such a good counter argument for future drama. "This story was too silly" on the Mavity show? "This episode went so drastically against canon" an episode of the Mavity show? "That made no sense" on the show where they retconned gravity? "They race-swapped Isaac Newton but he was a real person who was white" you mean the same episode that also renamed the real life concept of gravity?

Bad: Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is ending service at the end of February 2024, and I'll no longer be able to play new content as characters from long-finished entries in the series.
Better: People have posted tutorials on how to rip the game assets and manipulate them in 3D modeling programs to make them do whatever you want.
I promise to only use this newfound power for good.

(I don't want to have to say goodbye to him again, but at least I can depict the event in a way that I know the actual game won't give me, lol)

So, Doctor Who actually came out and went with "you can't solve your emotional trauma by dying" this time, and I'm all for that.
Like, when Ten regenerated, he was at the lowest point in his current life, then regeneration happens, and boom, now he's Eleven, everything's reset, and that can's been kicked down the road.
But this time around, they were like, no, you know what? Tenteen, you have some serious unaddressed emotional trauma. So you know what we're going to do about it this time around? You're going to go on living. You're going to deal with it. You're going to complain at first about how just living one day after the next is exhausting and maddening, but you've got people around you now who have a lifetime of experience with that, and you're going to lean on them. And once you do that, look at this happier, better version of you that you'd become.
(my only real reservation about this development is that it could prompt a spin-off with Tenteen and Donna that would siphon excitement away from Fifteen, and I want Ncuti Gatwa to be given every opportunity to shine without having to compete against a legend like David Tennant)

I am so glad Russell T. Davies is back
No spoilers for the Doctor Who special, just general comments on writing differences.
I got into Doctor Who probably when Season 5 of the reboot was airing, and started from the beginning of the reboot with Eccleston's 9th Doctor. That first season was kind of hit-and-miss, but I stayed invested because even if stories about farting aliens or talking pieces of skin didn't always hit the mark, the human element of being exposed to those situations still did. And as the Davies run went on, the stories became less cringe and the human element still remained.
In those stories, the companion was always made to be the audience insert character. "There is this cool person who can take you anywhere in time and space, and you get to experience all these neat things."
Then in Season 5 the writing switched to Steven Moffat. And to me something felt... off. No longer did the companion seem to be the audience insert character, but rather the Doctor was who the audience was supposed to relate to. "Look at this person, he's so cool. Don't you wish you were cool and smart and important like him? Look at how impressed everyone is with him!"
Now, Moffat could do impressive monster action stories fine. It's just that the human element to them was gone. The characters were mostly there to move the story from cool scene to cool scene without any time to let it actually affect them in any meaningful way.
Then we moved on to Chris Chibnall, who had the opposite problem as Moffat. He knew how to humanize characters, but had a hard time putting them into crazy, over-the-top situations. So we had a cast of actual people again, but they weren't doing anything interesting.
And now with the 60th anniversary specials, Davies is back (and holy crap, so is Murray Gold on music which is even better). And let's just say... the human element is back, and so is the zaniness. And I so happy.

Noragami Chapter 108-2
Chapter is translated. It is now confirmed that the next chapter will be the last, but it is NOT being released in December, but January 6th. So next month will be a hiatus. The final chapter will be full-length, double the length of what we've been getting lately. The release date will be a Friday for me, so I'll look into getting some time off work to give me time to get it all done that day. Thankfully with yesterday's time change, I have an extra hour in the day to do so since now the chapters release at 10am for me instead of 11.

Noragami Chapter 108-2 Raws
And here we have the penultimate chapter. The last page confirms the leaks that the next chapter will be the last one, will be 45 pages, will have a color page, and won't come out until 1/6/2024. So, there will be a hiatus for December and the series will end in January.
It's been a fun ride, everyone!
Also, it's my mom's birthday, so despite it being a weekend, the translation will be out at its usual time rather than early since I will still be occupied during the day.
