(Larian got rid of so many good close-ups during conversations so I couldn't take many good new screenshots yet 😭 I love the game, but this irks me quite a lot 😔 probably going to make a separate post about that as well...)

I chose Grey 0 instead of one of the white hair colors since they still seem too light/glowy to me :( And although the eyebrows for Grey 0 are lighter now compared to Patch 9, it still feels/looks a bit weird/too dark to me 🥲 But it's either darker eyebrows + the correct silvery hair color or smoother, lighter eyebrows + weirdly glowing silver-white hair 😥 (although the blueish glow of one of the white options is pretty and fits the winter theme Nevis is still more or less based on) Hopefully I'll get used to it...

Nevis was the first character I (re)created after booting up the game on release day, but once I reached the hair color section I realized someone else would need to go first. So the hair color decision is the main reason why I put off starting a Nevis playthrough until now... Another reason for not playing with him yet is that I will have to send Astarion away once he is revealed to be a vampire and I already feel sad & uneasy thinking about it 😭 I couldn't bring myself to send him away in EA and just told him "no", but that's what Nevis would actually do 😭

I'm scared I will never see the Astarion hug scene in my current playthrough because I'm playing a good character (meaning there aren't that many opportunities for getting his approval) and because I missed some conversations by not doing enough long rests 😭 (since resting when most spell slots are still there feels wrong to me and also because especially in the beginning it feels wrong to let too many days pass, you know? Update: It still feels wrong later because so much is at stake all the time 😰)

I'm already done with the goblin camp (and don't want to do the boss fights again because they are a big pain in the @€% for me) and I realized after the celebration (and my hard earned victory over the gith patrol) happened, so... 🥲💔

Does anyone know if you can still initiate romances in Act 2? (Although I am not sure where exactly Act 2 begins tbh...)

Is it even possible to beat the gith patrol at level 3??? (I know they are level 5)

It's only logical from a RP standpoint to look for the creche as soon as possible, since Lae'zel seems very confident about having a cure and simply is a mind flayer expert because she is Githyanki.

So I went there as fast as I could without too many distractions, and just like in EA, they are kicking my ass. Tbh my group is probably not the best but it should be possible, right???

Because from the moment you find her again, she's like "we gotta find a creche as soon as possible" but now the game punishes you when you do that.

Does anyone have any advice?

Are you running bg3 with the slow hdd box checked in settings? You have a good amount of video and system ram so it should run just as well as a fast ssd most of the time.

As long as you're not running at like 4k max textures or something.

Uhhh I just checked and that setting is not active, actually! :o and I don't even have anything capable of displaying (?) 4k, so I should be fine! (I'm playing on 1920x1080 resolution)

I didn't even see it when going through the settings initially, but thank you for the heads-up anon! ^^

If Show Item Labels is not working for you when you press Left Alt, try resetting the keybinds settings once. That's how it was working again for me.

Small, non-spoilery update: The game runs just fine although it's installed on a HDD! 🥹

Also no freezes/hitching like in EA (yet)! I'm so happy!

I don't know if this helps anyone, but here are my specs for comparison:

CPU: i5-6500

GPU: RTX 3060 (12 GB VRAM)

16 GB RAM

1,8 TB HDD
