...... Writing block's a bitch. Been stumped on wanting to write anything and finishing your present @dimorphodon-x has been a hurdle I'm not yet able to reach. -_- But it's still being touched up, so it isn't abandoned, I promise. Work is just.... Very slow, is all.

But I did have a dream about Joka Ardhi though, in the Pirateformers AU.... About the technology Asya's ancestors, during the rule of the first Dragon Lord, Alunnui, used as a form of a safeguard to ensure humanity would never again enslave and banish the Dragonkin from the stars they worshipped.

Sooooo RANDOM LORE DUMP!!!

I'd say by combining their honed skill of mining for magic crystals, their advanced understanding of astrology, a lot of blacksmithing and working with the magic of the crystals and MAYBE some influence from the sirens at that time (i.e, three thousand years ago from Asya and Elbent's time), Alunnui commissioned something spread across the few major locations the Dragonkin called home when they were banished underground, in an untouched realm known today by the Jokani as the Forsaken City.

These ancient relics of the highest calibre the ancestral Dragonkin built were made for the possibility of the Dragonkin and citizens of Alunnui's empire being evacuated quickly, should they end up back in the underworld of the Forsaken City, and were hidden in Star Temples within the five biggest dens (akin to a city but based in large collections of huts and caves carved into the walls and giant staligmites) the Dragonkin dwelled in at that time of their banishment from the sun and sand.

In order to ensure the Dragonkin and Jokani loyal to them could be quickly moved from one location to another ONLY within the Forsaken City and across Joka Ardhi....

They made Stargates.

However... The truth to their existence was lost in time, as the temples were abandoned and sealed away, but not locked up for emergency and instant use. Only one Dragonkin from Alunnui's time knows about the Five Stargates of the Forsaken City... Or that they use the five constellation gods of the Evenstar Church as pinpoints to find locations from aboveground to direct the Stargates by choosing at least three constellations for the latitude, longitude and the Jokani Constellational God the gate is named after for the exact location desired (for example, the southernmost gate in the far east, the one closest to the port city of Wajiri, was where the first Stargate was built, and was named the Usiku Gate after the constellation of the Jokani Elder Dragon God, Usiku)...

The only one alive with this knowledge of the Stargates is Mjuzi Kamaria, the royal advisor, and Asya's only ally from within the Jokani royal court...... The only one who has served the royal family and every rightful heir to the Throne of Crimson Sands since Alunnui became the first Dragon Lord.

I DON'T OWN ANYTHING FROM THIS IDEA, IT ONLY CAME TO ME IN A DREAM, AND MADE ME REALIZE THE DRAGONKIN COULD DEFINITELY DO THIS THANKS TO THE POWER OF THE CRYSTALS THEY MINE, AND THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE STARS AND MAGIC!!

And let me just say.... Starhawk in the Pirateformers AU is the one who stumbled upon one such Stargate and accidentally ended up activating one leading from a far eastern Forsaken City den straight to the capital city aboveground. 🤣 It happened in my dream and THUS I DUB IT CANON TO HOW HE HELPED ASYA LEAD THE WAR AGAINST HER DAD!!

Update on the Fic Gift for Dim

First...... I somehow got COVID. AFTER AVOIDING THE DAMN THING FOR THE LAST 4-5 YEARS SINCE IT FIRST EMERGED IN THE PANDEMIC, I FINALLY CAUGHT IT!! ;A; And though it's since left my system, now I have this annoying, lingering tickly cough that won't go away. And because of it and recovering from COVID, the creative flow has been slow. ;3;

Second.... WHY ARE ENDINGS SO HARD TO WRITE?! ;A; I KEEP TRYING TO MAKE IT THIS BADASS AND EXCITING CLIMAX, BUT NO ANGLE OR IDEA SEEMS TO WORK!! I know what SHOULD happen, I just dunno how to connect Point A to Point B in a good and attentive way that'll make things not feel boring or cringy. UGH, WRITER BRAIN BE STRUGGLING!!

The Things I Write Sometimes, I Swear...

I'm about halfway done with your gift fic, @dimorphodon-x, which I've codenamed Boogaloo for now... And my brain made a whole ass line of dialogue out of nowhere that just made me cackle so hard! I have no idea how I made it, if it was intentionally sampling from Good Omens, but it just appeared and IT WORKS SO WELL!! 😂

I wanna provide context.... But nah, it's so much better without~ What you DO need to know is that this is said by Swift to Rodimus, when the two are joking around, and she gives him her classic level of sass via a comparison between the two of them.

"...... You, my dear Rodimus Prime, are gayer than a Vosian dance club full of glow-stick adorned turbo foxes full of beer and nitrous oxide."

Why does it keep making me laugh, every time I read it?!

And a story suddenly came to mind, involving Starhawk and the Lost Light....

Now I'm legit writing a short horror fic about Talos being unleashed.... Just because. Also I ONLY STARTED WRITING THIS AT WORK IN THE MORNING!!! 😂 ALL THAT WAS MADE IN ONLY 3 HOURS!!! THE HELL??!?!

AND THE TITLE WAS SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT, UNTIL THAT SECOND OPTION CAME TO MIND!! X'D It ain't final, but I'm wheezing so hard at it!!

When Talos emerges from the headspace, Swift is still there, but is forced to take a backseat perspective inside her own mind. When this happens, Talos is supposedly docile and only ever truly comes out when Swift needs his help to defeat a greater threat she alone cannot handle with her power as a Seeker...

The moment the danger passes... Talos will eagerly turn on those Swift trusted him to protect, especially the children, and attack them. Swift CAN AND WILL try to reign him in and regain control, but by this point she is physically too tired to fight him, making the corruption of Talos's full takeover much easier and quicker to occur. The moment the orange fades into blue-black, no matter how much Swift physically beats herself up to try and weaken him.... Talos has already won.

As his true self... Talos is manipulative, sadistic, sociopathic, feral yet intelligent in an unhinged way, and he only has two main goals.... To gain independence from Swift by claiming either her body or gaining one of his own, and getting his revenge on Swift by destroying everything she loves with every chance he has, when he is in control, and breaking her mentally and emotionally in order to finally take over without her resisting.

On a normal day, when Swift's mental state is weak due to a bad mental health day or she's feeling exhausted.... Talos will whisper in her mind all the things she did in the past, about how she killed her father, slaughtered those humans who made her become this way, and how he longs to make her suffer by watching those she loves suffer by her hand. He plagues her dreams sometimes with nightmares of his desires... But it's thanks to Elbent and the constant distraction of maintaining her mental wellbeing that keeps Talos at bay.

In the IDW AU.... He will kill everyone on the Lost Light, if given the chance. And because he's bigger than Megatron, he would be Talos's first target. Then Ultra Magnus... Then Starhawk and Rodimus. Then Elbent, Verglaust and Swift's whole polycule and family, and finally the kids, both Starhawk's and Swift's, and he would make Swift watch to truly break her.

If the crew manage to knock Talos out and bring Swift back in control, before any of that happens, she would IMMEDIATELY imprison herself and fight Talos into submission in the safety of her prison cell, all by literally throwing herself against the walls and hurting herself over and over and over again... Until she can outlast the agony of her broken body and make Talos pass out and submit into returning back into his space within her psyche.

If Chromedome ever tried to tap into Swift's mindspace, he would see Talos in an old, battered, but sturdy cage made of broken glass, with Swift- as her human self- huddled up in a far off corner and connected by a collar Talos wears as well, on a long, spooled silver chain.

Her story is still generally the same, but just added a few tweaks to make her blend in better with a more canon aligned world (i.e; Earthspark and a little bit of IDW/Lost Light), but I'll reveal it at a later time, once it's fully fleshed out.

Swift is still a former human (originally named Asya Mutheru) that was turned into a Cybertronian, doing so by having her body digested by the Energon within a Cybertronian protoform's hollow spark, burning away her corpse to pluck her soul out and turn it into the spark that brought Swiftwire to life, all thanks to her birth father, Jeremy Omari.

Personality wise, Swift is still as maternal, goofy, vain but kind, and as flirtatious as ever, and is generally the "Mom Friend with gremlin energy" within any group she finds herself a part of.

Deep inside her psyche, however.... the monster that Swift's body was supposed to become is still alive.... He's just taking the backseat instead of dominating and controlling the body fully like Swift is now. This is purely because Asya was supposed to die and pass on when her human body became the cadaver powering her spark... But instead, her soul took over and changed the Cybertronian husk into her new body, one that became female presenting instead of male.

That monster is Talos, a Beastformer designed by Jeremy to take on the appearance of a blue Minotaur Spartan Hoplite soldier in the form of a manmade Transformer.

Talos's presence is still inside Swift, and only truly comes out when she is angry and starts to "see red". That saying, in her case, is literal, as her eyes change and her jaw elongates to show who is slowly taking over her (as seen in the image above Swift~).

This change is known as 10% Corruption Mode, where Talos takes over only a small part of her and dominates only her face and her instincts. The more of her body that changes, the more the "corruption" reaches 100%. When it reaches that mark, Swift will no longer be in the driver seat of her own body and mind, and both will then be fully under Talos's control.

Talos and Swift are like Jekyll and Hyde, but instead of them simply sharing a mind, Swift and Talos are both Transformers with their own root and alt-modes, existing in the same body. Talos has his main form (the Spartan Hoplite) and his Beast alt mode (the Minotaur), while Swift has her main form/root mode and her jet alt mode. So Swift isn't really a Triple or a Quadruple-Changer.... Talos exists within her with his own root mode body that takes over Swift's, and her jet form becomes the Minotaur form he transforms into.

When Talos takes over Swift's body, her frame colour changes from glittery orange to a dark midnight blue, starting from the head and bleeding down her body. It is a painful process each time, as it feels like she is being ripped apart from the inside out, especially when she tries to keep Talos locked inside, but before this happens, the first two things that change are her eyes and her jaw, the 10% Corruption stage....

Her eyes are always the first to change before the colour of her frame switches. Usually, they are blue with black sclera, and white slit pupils that were once round, before Talos first emerged and forced her to change. They remain slit to this day as a remnant of his presence within her, and so when he emerges.... They turn from white to red. The blue of her irises then vanish into the sea of black of her sclera, making her pupils the only thing that stand out in her eyes, and show that Talos has now taken over her mind.

The next to change is her face.... Her cheeks bear a line across them that is another permanent remnant of Talos's influence, and so that line opens and forcibly stretches and exposes the metal muscles and sinew that connects her jaw to her skull, but it doesn't damage her jaw or skin in any way. Her cheeks heal every time she returns to normal.

If the changes progress any further from here and reaches above 40% Corruption, then Swift will be locked inside herself and Talos will fully front without any further resistance, and assume full control over the body. If Swift does manage to resist and stop Talos before reaching 40%, then she can regain control and revert back to her own body.

If not..... Then her body will fully turn blue, her Seeker form becomes masculine and beefier, and Talos will then stand in his full, armored, Spartan Hoplite form with split-hoof bipedal legs, Swift's dreadlocks now forming the iconic mohawk of his helmet (also turned black and blue in hue) and her wings flat and fused together to act like a cape, with Talos's split-mouthed face hidden in his helmet, as the body now presents itself as his.

As his Minotaur Beast alt-mode..... The wings and dreadlocks are packed away, and his upper body becomes that of a bull with long, curved horns pointed forwards, a thick silver ring in his snout, and his maw still filled with fangs and his arms bearing Swift's claws... Which become blacker and travel further up her arms the more she allows Talos to take over.

The only way to bring Swift back is to knock Talos unconscious.

It should also be noted that Swift's height is 17 feet... Talos's main/Spartan form is 25 feet tall, while his Minotaur form is roughly 22 feet. (All using Earthspark heights for comparison)

I just made this realization after joking with @tigracespace about how Swift would say Rodimus and Starhawk's (@dimorphodon-x's baby boi) names in her Kenyan accent, and I just.... I can't unhear it!!! XD SWIFT'S ACCENT SOUNDS SO SIMILAR TO THE UGANDAN ACCENT!!! 🤣 WHY?!?! I FEEL SO CURSED WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE!!!

..... All I can think of, now, is Swift just annoying Starhawk and Rodimus, whenever the topic of the Lost Light quest comes up, and when someone asks about where they're going, she just smirks and asks this to the two poor feckers:

.... Siblings. They got that sibling vibe, for sure~ ~*~

Her nickname for him is Hawkie or Ndugu (Swahili word for Brother) ~*~

When they first met, her first impression on him was... memorable, to say the least. She joined at the start of the quest to Cyberutopia, and when she entered the bar for the first time and was about to greet Hawk.... She immediately tripped on the much shorter Rewind and fell face first, Blitzø from Helluva Boss style, right in front of him. Never one to feel ashamed for such things, Swift simply laughed and rolled over onto her back, apologizing to Rewind.... before simply offering her hand to Hawk from the floor and introduced herself in a playful tone, "Nice to meet you, darling. I'm Swiftwire, but people call me Swift.... The floor is surprisingly comfy." ~*~ But in due time, after a few shared drinks with him and exchanging trauma stories, she'd see him as a big brother she loves to annoy... But she would 100% protect him from harm and be there for him when he needs her, especially as a babysitter. ~*~

Her main expression around him is a smug grin... She definitely pranked him somehow. He doesn't know what it is yet, but he always knows she did something. It's ALWAYS something with her~ ~*~

Swift's accent is something Hawk would definitely try to tease her on the most, for the first half of their prank wars~ Purely because her Kenyan accent makes her pronounce Rodimus as "Roddy-Moose" with a rolled R, and Starhawk's own name as "Star-Huckoo". And thus, the nicknames began... with Rodimus becoming Roddie and Starhawk being Hawkie. ~*~

Is Rodimus innocent in their pranks? Naaahhh~ He's the one who plotted half of them, at least, allowing Swift to carry them out in his stead, when captaining takes up most of his time. But the pranks are never big or humiliating, only silly~ ~*~

The common types of pranks she'd most likely pull would be to put big chunky eyebrows on his baby/babies or dress them up in funny costumes to surprise him, jumpscare him by popping out from the vents above his head and dangle from her dreadlocks Spiderman style, or switch his drinking glass with an empty one to make him think he drank too much without realizing it.... like stealing a toy from a dog without them noticing~ She mostly loves to confuse him. ~*~

Thunderclash is the mediator to Swift and Rodimus's pranks. He makes sure they don't give poor Hawk a heart/spark attack, and he mostly does this by plucking Swift out of the vents or holding her up like a cat in air prison to carry her away and scold her. Megatron is the main one to do this when Thunderclash isn't around. He is immune to her pranks towards him, when Swift wishes to make Hawk laugh.... since she knows her pranks towards Megatron always end in a chase or her being plucked and tossed out of a room~ ~*~

The moment Swift hears an inkling about children, she'll be giddy and eager to provide her services and aid to Hawk and the papa trio. If she meets Elbent and Verglaust in this AU with their own kids, Ferrous and Indicolite, then Swift would definitely be taking notes on how to be a Mom and Aunty from both families and eagerly offering to be a babysitter to ALL the kids~ She's surprisingly good at managing a whole hoard of them, and thus would easily become the Lost Light's daycare person.... ESPECIALLY after having her own daughter, Sira. ~*~

Speaking of Sira.... Since Swift would technically die for a short while after the birth, I have a feeling she would have Sira after the birth of Flareblaze, once she's gotten to know the full depth of child rearing from Novabird's experience and getting to babysit him. The day that happens, and Swift dies from the pregnancy becoming ectopic but allowing Sira to be delivered safely at the cost of her voice.... Yeeaaaahhh Hawk gonna be traumatized seeing Swift all bloody and grey, only to come back after being patched up and healing a bit. But...... If Cybertronian births occur through the spark chamber.... This would be the day Swift's secret about her spark would be revealed~ And here, if Hawk was present or came after the birth of Sira.... He would see Asya's brutally destroyed corpse within Swift's spark, the only true sign to show that Swift is dangling between the edge of life and death. ~*~

And finally.... If Swift was around after Hawk's death, she would be there to help raise the kids as a supportive family friend, or Auntie/Shangazi Swifty to the kids. But because of her past brushes with death, Swift would DEFINTELY have a weak but consistent ability to sense Hawk's ghost~ She would mourn him massively and paint her plating white (the colour of mourning in most African cultures) for a full month. In turn, Swift would happily babysit little Nova, and through the constant presence of being there for the family, she'd be able to tell where Hawk was.... And perhaps see him like a flickering shadow when he interacts with objects. Due to this, she would keep it a secret and subtly help him out using her dreadlocks when anyone is around, until either Hawk assures her that it's ok to know his secret, or Thunderclash tells her himself. ~*~ In turn...... Hawk would most likely be able to see a small, lingering light in her chest constantly only after his death, like a ghostly presence that embodies Swift's spark. This white light would flicker weakly like a star in the distant night sky, but would grow brighter subtly when Swift becomes nostalgic of her human past or is encouraged to teach the kids or anyone about her culture and mother tongue of Swahili. And should Hawk ever touch this light....... He would experience a very quick but brief flash of her memories as a child, of her time spent with her mother Gasira. All Hawk would see is her mother's face, maybe a whisper of her gentle voice praising her and calling her "my darling rose", before he'd jolt back into the present.... Both him and Swift shivering from the sudden chill up their spines. She'd have some trouble explaining THAT to Rodimus~

She really needed a fresh new look, due to all the shit she's gone through, and just generally smooth out the rough edges of her lore, which I'll do as part of a full bio later, since it's gonna be a long post.... So I'll just do her main details here for the sake of putting only what's important here. XD But also JUST LOOK AT HER!!! 😭 SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Swiftwire Asya Zahara Mutheru of the Maasai Tribe

Her story is still generally the same, but just added a few tweaks to make her blend in better with a more canon aligned world (i.e; Earthspark and a little bit of IDW/Lost Light), but I'll reveal it at a later time, once it's fully fleshed out.

In short.... Swift is still a former human (originally named Asya Mutheru) that was turned into a Cybertronian, doing so by having her body digested by the Energon within a Cybertronian protoform's hollow spark, burning away her corpse to pluck her soul out and turn it into the spark that brought Swiftwire to life, all thanks to her birth father, Jeremy Omari.

Personality wise, Swift is still as maternal, goofy, vain but kind, and as flirtatious as ever, and is generally the "Mom Friend with gremlin energy" within any group she finds herself a part of.

Deep inside her psyche, however.... the monster that Swift's body was supposed to become is still alive.... He's just taking the backseat instead of dominating and controlling the body fully like Swift is now. This is purely because Asya was supposed to die and pass on when her human body became the cadaver powering her spark... But instead, her soul took over and changed the Cybertronian husk into her new body, one that became female presenting instead of male.

That monster is Talos, a Beastformer designed by Jeremy to take on the appearance of a blue Minotaur Spartan Hoplite soldier in the form of a manmade Transformer.

Talos's presence is still inside Swift, and only truly comes out when she is angry and starts to "see red". That saying, in her case, is literal, as her eyes change and her jaw elongates to show who is slowly taking over her (as seen in the image above Swift~).

This change is known as 10% Corruption Mode, where Talos takes over only a small part of her and dominates only her face and her instincts. The more of her body that changes, the more the "corruption" reaches 100%. When it reaches that mark, Swift will no longer be in the driver seat of her own body and mind, and both will then be fully under Talos's control.

Talos and Swift are like Jekyll and Hyde, but instead of them simply sharing a mind, Swift and Talos are both Transformers with their own root and alt-modes, existing in the same body. Talos has his main form (the Spartan Hoplite) and his Beast alt mode (the Minotaur), while Swift has her main form/root mode and her jet alt mode. So Swift isn't really a Triple or a Quadruple-Changer.... Talos exists within her with his own root mode body that takes over Swift's, and her jet form becomes the Minotaur form he transforms into.

When Talos takes over Swift's body, her frame colour changes from glittery orange to a dark midnight blue, starting from the head and bleeding down her body. It is a painful process each time, as it feels like she is being ripped apart from the inside out, especially when she tries to keep Talos locked inside, but before this happens, the first two things that change are her eyes and her jaw, the 10% Corruption stage....

Her eyes are always the first to change before the colour of her frame switches. Usually, they are blue with black sclera, and white slit pupils that were once round, before Talos first emerged and forced her to change. They remain slit to this day as a remnant of his presence within her, and so when he emerges.... They turn from white to red. The blue of her irises then vanish into the sea of black of her sclera, making her pupils the only thing that stand out in her eyes, and show that Talos has now taken over her mind.

The next to change is her face.... Her cheeks bear a line across them that is another permanent remnant of Talos's influence, and so that line opens and forcibly stretches and exposes the metal muscles and sinew that connects her jaw to her skull, but it doesn't damage her jaw or skin in any way. Her cheeks heal every time she returns to normal.

~*~

If the changes progress any further from here and reaches above 40% Corruption, then Swift will be locked inside herself and Talos will fully front without any further resistance, and assume full control over the body. If Swift does manage to resist and stop Talos before reaching 40%, then she can regain control and revert back to her own body.

If not..... Then her body will fully turn blue, her Seeker form becomes masculine and beefier, and Talos will then stand in his full, armored, Spartan Hoplite form with split-hoof bipedal legs, Swift's dreadlocks now forming the iconic mohawk of his helmet (also turned black and blue in hue) and her wings flat and fused together to act like a cape, with Talos's split-mouthed face hidden in his helmet, as the body now presents itself as his.

As his Minotaur Beast alt-mode..... The wings and dreadlocks are packed away, and his upper body becomes that of a bull with long, curved horns pointed forwards, a thick silver ring in his snout, and his maw still filled with fangs and his arms bearing Swift's claws... Which become blacker and travel further up her arms the more she allows Talos to take over.

The only way to bring Swift back is to knock Talos unconscious.

It should also be noted that Swift's height is 17 feet... Talos's main/Spartan form is 25 feet tall, while his Minotaur form is roughly 22 feet. (All using Earthspark heights for comparison)

Also..... This is his voice claim.... Everything he says is canon to what Talos is like and how he speaks to Swift in their shared headspace~

Just a ramble for what's to come... About Swift 3.0

Ok, so upon looking at @dimorphodon-x's Earthspark Prowl art, I just realized something...... And it's truly confirmed something that's making me so giddy about my decision to touch up Swift's design via a commission!!

.......... Swift's new look has an Earthspark vibe. SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S AN ACTUAL CHARACTER FROM EARTHSPARK!! She looks SIMILAR to Starscream and the Seekers of the show, but STILL HAS HER OWN UNIQUE DESIGN!! AND SHE DOESN'T LOOK SIMILAR TO IDW RODIMUS ANYMORE!!

But the best part in all this......... I can finally put her in a canon world! She was originally between TFP and IDW, as I could never figure out her canon placement in all the Transformers lore, but now..... I can safely say she's a part of the Earthspark world AND SHE WOULD FIT RIGHT IN!! SHE'LL FINALLY HAVE A HEIGHT THAT WORKS WITH OTHER OCS AND CANON CHARACTERS TOO!!

SHE FINALLY BELONGS SOMEWHERE THAT CAN FLESH OUT HER LORE!!! FINALLY!!!

Sooooo...... while doing some research on book recommendations, I found out just now that there's a Wiccan book called The Spiral Dance, a feminine energy-based thing written by someone under a craft name/pen name that's VERY SIMILAR to a certain traumatized boi we all know and love.

........ Honestly, @dimorphodon-x, I'm just as confused as you are. XD And as soon as I saw that book, all I could think of was a very confused Seeker holding the book and having an identity crisis. 😂 I'd love to know what his reaction would be, but either way, just.... witness my confusion and know that I legit thought the book was written by YOUR BOY for a full second!
