I'm just gonna say it, scrolling through some tags you follow here and finding your own art feels like it's forbidden, like I get whiplash every time. My brain just goes "Hold up, that ain't right, that's illegal" and proceeds to make me stare at my own post for 20 minutes before I go back to gremlin mode and continue squeaking like a rubber chicken in excitement when I see something cool.

Just thought of a name, "Open Their Eyes Au" also a lil summary of how this happened

After fighting what he had thought was one of Eggman's bots he hurried to Tails's workshop to get patched up,

but while Tails was wrapping up one of Sonic's wounds he noticed a magenta ooze on every injury, no matter how small, but he brushed it off thinking it was some weird paint on the bot that was still drying when he fought it,

a few days later Sonic returns his eyes now just a bit pink, looking sick and very dazed mumbling to himself, so Tails is now a bit worried that these are connected, but hoping for the best he gives Sonic some pain medicine, an ice pack, and some soup and sent him on his way.

Later Amy calls Tails saying he heard screaming from Sonic's house and wants Tails to check on him, since he's the only one with medical experience beyond bandaging and cleaning wounds.

He flew over as quick as possible, hoping and praying it was just a jumpscare in a movie Sonic hadn't expected,

but as soon as he arrived his hopes were crushed, the house was dead silent aside from his own laboured breathing.

Rushing through the house checking each room as he went he thought through the possibilities: Pulled muscle, night terrors, fell out of bed, Eggman captured him, pain in injuries flared up due to heat.

Tails had thought he was prepared for the worst.

He. Was. WRONG.

Anyway, sorry this was so long, I hope this makes at least a little sense cause I am so sleep deprived if I added the hours of sleep I have had each night this week I would probably get a number lower than eight, and it's kinda 10:30 at night lol, anyway off to draw more creepy stuff.
