His words didnt much to soothe her. Her whole body trembled in fear. She hated showing fear, to anyone. Especially someone who knew her old life. She had done such terrible things all in the name of the greater good and it had all been bull shit. "Please....I can't go back" she mumbled. She cowered away from the boy in front of her. His words were meaningless to her. Many had come to her claiming to be one thing, but were really another. "You say you're a farmer...but how can I trust that."
On instinct she raised her bow, pointing the arrow right at the guys heart. She couldn't risk him telling the military where she was. She knew too much and they would kill her if they found her. Or worse. Force her back into the role she had once been so perfect for. She hated who she was and she had no intention of going back.
But as she looked into the eyes of the boy she was ready to kill her heart softened. His eyes were so innocent, so young. If he had seen the things she had, you would never have known it. Something about him...just seemed trustworthy. She lowered her bow, staring at his face before she slumped onto the couch, her head in her hands. "I'm...I'm sorry..."
Star Struck {Zelo & Eunji}
He was absolutely certain it was her. He wouldn’t forget someone like her. Before he ever set foot on Zone X, before he was even that experienced in the military this woman had been there and done it all. Suddenly she had disappeared and it had created a big buzz back then. The young soldier couldn’t believe she was here, right in front of him, in Zone X out of all places. Zelo stared at the woman openly until she began her series of panicked exclamations and was suddenly running away. “No, no, no, wait wait!”
Back when he was merely a fleshling in military training Zelo had heard so many stories of this female, soldier machine. The rumors ran around like wildfire, spreading from person to person. It had been impossible not to know about her. Jung Eunji. He remembered her clearly now. When he had first laid eyes on the woman he literally couldn’t believe. They hadn’t even talked at that time, simply a few glimpses here and there as she outranked him by a million light years. Still it had been enough to leave an impression. He was immediately star struck. He had even fanboyed with a few of his comrade who were around the same age as him. It was mostly admiration, he really wanted to be someone as admirable as her.
Now she was here. In the flesh. Zelo immediately chased after her. His long legs permitting him to keep up without the need to sprint. He followed her until they were up in the loft. When he finally caught up with her he raised his eyebrows high. “You’re Jung Eunji, right?” His eyes were wide and his mouth spread in a wide grin. “I remember you from my days of training. We never met but I really admired your bravery.” He suddenly realized that perhaps the fact that she had disappeared those years before were for a legitimate reason and he suddenly looked serious. Her reaction to him spoke of her fear of being recognized. “I’m not here in any military duty.” He raised his arms in a show that he didn’t mean any harm to her. “Actually, Zelo is my code name and while I do remember you from back in the Military let me assure you that I am by no means interested in whatever your relationship is with them now. Like I said, I’m a farmer. That’s who’s standing here now.”

Eunji tensed as the strange man crept closer. Her mind screamed for her to run, but her body wouldnt move. She didn't understand. It wanted the stranger to come closer....to...touch her. Soon her mind began to follow along with her body, images of the man holding her, his fingers roaming her...
She shook her head, trying desperately to free herself from the alcohol induced fog. She couldnt stay here. Who know's what might happen. "No...really...I should go..." She tried to push past him but only managed to trip once more, this time landing into the stranger, her fingers gripping his shoulders for support. She stared at his chest for a few minutes, too scared to look up. Slowly she raised her head, looking into the stranger's soft eyes. Her breath caught in her throat and her body remained frozen against him.
Sensation’s Temptation | Eunji & Jae
“Sorry for what?” He said as he crouched down beside her, forcing his eyes to stay level with hers so they wouldn’t wonder. “Come on! Stay longer! I’m sure I can find some more to drink, it’ll be fun!” Now, if YoungJae hadn’t had been drunk, this woman would have been dead before she even had the chance to step away from the couch and break that bottle against the wall. There’s no way he would even think about letting her stay a little while longer, and nor would he have let his eyes wander. Thoughts like those were useless to his sober side. But when he got drunk, that was obviously a different story.

Eunji stared the strange boy up and down. He was tall, lean, and from what she could tell, very muscular. Under different circumstances she might have thought he was attractive. But his total lack of restraint and common sense was offsetting. Not to mention he was so loud and would draw way to much attention. To be honest, she wondered how he was even still alive. Everyone knew that staying quiet was key to survival. So what was wrong with this kid?
She froze at his question. Lowering her bow ever so slightly she took another few seconds to scan his face. He wasnt familiar to her at all....but that didnt mean much. He was younger than her, that was obvious. She wasn't sure how he could possible know her unless....
Her eyes grew wide and she began to back away from him. "You don't know me. You couldn't possibly know me. Just forget you ever saw me and don't come or next time I'll shoot first and ask questions later." She knew she shouldn't turn her back to him. That was rule number one. Never turn your back on a potential enemy. But fear took over and she ran. She didn't have time to think about taking an obscure path back to the loft, leaving an easy trail for Zelo to follow.
She knew the only possible way for him to know her was if he was military. She didn't have time to think things through. She had to pack, get out before he could report to his commanding officer and she'd be dragged back. She didn't exactly leave on good terms and she knew that if given the chance, she'd be taken back for interogation, torture....or worse.
Star Struck {Zelo & Eunji}
He looked down at his abandoned mode of transportation then brought his eyes back at the woman. “I swear to you that’s all. I was just curious about the building and thought that maybe nobody lived here. Since it’s such an unkempt area and…..” He was starting to babble now but that was typical Zelo. What wasn’t typical Zelo was falling silent in the middle of his sentence. The woman’s face suddenly struck him as familiar. “Have we… met before?”

Eunji nodded at his agreement to the deal. He smiles too much. She wasnt really one for smiling. She used to be....the old Eunji would smile at the littlest thing and thought there was genuine good in the world. Now she knew better. Emotions were for the weak. Showing emotions got you killed. That's how this world worked. And maybe...that's how the world had worked all along.
"Eunji. Jung Eunji." She said absentmindedly as she wandered around the garage. For someone so small he sure had a lot of big tools. She wondered how someone with his small frame could lift, let alone operate, them. But he managed she guessed. And by the looks of it he was pretty good at what he did.
She knew she should be polite and ask him his name in return, but she didn't want to know. Knowing a person's name meant you had a connection to them, you were acquaintances. That was the last thing she wanted. She didnt want to get close to people, not anymore. So she stayed silent, keeping her eyes on anything but the small boy at his work table.
Family? | Eunji & Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo blinked up at her, eyes even sparkling with wonder at the thought with even more rabbits. He loved meat, fresh meat. He rarely got it, as there was no way he could go and get some himself. He found himself licking his lips at the thought of eating rabbit for dinner tonight.  Suddenly, his head rose, a full row of white teeth beaming at the girl at the offer to not only be her go-to (frequent customer, yay!) let alone her actually giving her things for him to eat. He tried to hide his eagerness with a small cough, large eyes peering down at his work a little sheepishly. He smiled shyly, nodding. “Yes, yes that sounds good. I accept your deal.” He bowed his head politely, only for his attention to go back to the object that the woman gave to him, large eyes peering at it’s contents. Suddenly, he took a small pair of pliers from his toolbox, his frown deepening in concentration only for his eyes to flicker up at her. “What’s your name?” He asked politely, only to look back at the contraption, his hand absent-mindedly searching for a strong glue.

Eunji shrugged. To her, one rabbit wasnt that big of a deal. It was one of the rejects that the black market hadn't wanted and She had two more where that came from at home. "There's plenty of more where that came from as soon as you get my bow stringer fixed." She walked over and sat on a stool.
Brooding over his suggestion, she realized she was a bit hungry. "Why not? Sure you can cook it and we'll eat it together. As soon as you get that fixed for me. And I'll tell you what. If you can be my go-to guy for fixing things? I'll bring you a percentage of whatever I catch each day. Sound good?"
Truth be told, she was afraid. She knew that an arms dealer was a better match for fixing what she needed fixed, but she just couldn't face Jae...not yet. She still needed to figure out what she was feeling before she saw him again. Knowing her....she'd run from him which is not something she wanted to do.
Family? | Eunji & Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo looked up at her politely when she slung off her backpack, though eyes widening at what she pulled out. His jaw dropped, eyes widened, and he almost dropped the small item she had asked him to fix. He tried to compose himself, blinking rapidly before muttering quietly: “A whole rabbit? But are you sure?” His eyes gazed incredulously at the dead creature, feeling his mouth salivate just at the thought of the taste. “No, No, I… I know how to cook it.” "It’s an awful lot though… for a simple fix…" It was strange, a person of this day to actually be turning down something that seemed too much for the deal, but here he was. "… Perhaps I could cook if for you? Eat together, kind of thing?" His eyes gazed at her frame, noting mentally that she could probably do with the meal, but in this day and age, everyone could. It was a wonder Kyungsoo was able to maintain the roundness of his cheeks, the plump curve of his lips.

Eunji drained the last drops of her bottle and frowned, shaking it upside down. "Damn" she muttered under her breath. She slumped over, closing her eyes, trying her best to not allow the tears to fall. She wouldnt be weak, even in her own home. She couldnt afford to. People took advantage of the weak, a lesson she knew all too well. She had made a promise to herself, and to her parents, that she would never be weak again.
The sound of someone's head hitting the table in front of her sent her nerves on high alert, well, as high as they could be with about 70% alcohol intake. She stood and staggered, reaching for her bow, which wasnt by the couch like it should have been. She frown and took the bottle, hitting it against the wall , breaking the bottom and leaving the part in her hand jagged and sharp. "Why am I here? Why are you here? This is my..."
As she took a few seconds to look around, she began to realize this place wasn't as familiar as she had thought. In fact...it wasn't familiar at all. "Shit." she cursed under her breath. She began to back away slowly, keeping her eyes on the man across from her. "I'm sorry...I..I must have stumbled into the wrong house...." She held her breath, continuing to back up until her back hit the wall behind her. She gulped, letting the bottle drop slightly so as not to look threatening, but in a position where she could strike at a moments notice.
"I'll just...be on my way.." She started to walk slowly towards the door, but tripped over something on the floor, landing on her hands and knees. She shook her head, trying to regain her senses, standing once again, her back once again resting on the wall, her head swimming. If she had been a little bit more sober she might have noticed that her clothes were disheveled, her button up shirt slipping off her right shoulder, revealing her neck and halfway open from the bottom, her undershirt crawling up to reveal the skin of her stomach, her shorts climbing up her thighs. She hadnt even noticed she'd left the warehouse barefoot.
"I'm...I'm sorry..." she began to mumble.
Sensation’s Temptation | Eunji & Jae
He stood up and curiously looked around the garage, his eyes eventually falling on the girl slouched against his couch. YoungJae’s eyes blinked. Once. Twice. “What…” He mumbled, stumbling over to the stranger. “Why are y-you here?” He hiccuped as the words left his mouth before staring dumbly at the girl. If he would have been sober, this girl would most likely be begging for her life by now; she was lucky he clearly wasn’t in his right state of mind.

"There is..." she said, rubbing the back of her neck. "But we have a....complicated...relationship." She watched him scurry off and she couldn't help but smile. This kid wouldn't last five minutes outside of this garage. She took the time to looks around, her eyes roaming over every object in the room. Not to make an inventory or anything, stealing wasnt her thing, but for future reference. You never know when you might need a mechanic for something and she wanted to know exactly what he could do.
"Trade? Ah yeah I have something." She always came prepared. She slung her backpack off one shoulder and pulled out a fresh rabbit she'd caught that morning, laying it on the table. "If you're not sure how to cook it I can show you a few pointers."
The old Eunji would  have smiled at him, made him feel more comfortable around her. But this new, and as far as she was concerned, and improved Eunji stood there stone faced and unemotional.
Family? | Eunji & Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo’s eyes gazed down at the object, frowning immediately as careful fingers picked it up. Warily, he looked back at her and gave a small sigh. “Isn’t this part of a weapon? Is there not an arms dealer in these parts?” Kyungsoo wouldn’t know, the only weapons he had were pipes and pepper spray. He gave an apologetic smile, bowing his head a little and walking back to his desk, taking the magnifying glass holder and adjusting it so it hovered over the top of the object in question. "Ah, yes, it’s broken." He mumbled to himself, looking up at her. "My specialty isn’t weapons, but if it’s what I think it is I should be able to fix it." He smiled gently, though then tilted his head curiously, wide-eyed. “This is only small, so I won’t be asking for much. Nevertheless, do you have something we can trade in return for my services? Even just a loaf of bread or fruit would be fine, or non perishables, I’m not that picky.”

He smiled, bowing a little to the girl who he wasn’t that much taller than, blinking at her politely. “Can I help you?”
Eunji blinked at the boy as he came around the corner. He wasn’t much taller than her, maybe an inch or too and he looked much younger, though she was sure he was probably closer to her age. She blinked again at his warm smile and wasn’t sure how to respond. Perky people had a tendency to give her a headache and he seemed a bit perkier than most.
 She took her stringing tool out of her pocket and held it out to him. “Can you fix this?”

Eunji grumbled under her breath. The night before her bow string had snapped and when she looked through her tools at home she realized her restringing instrument had gotten bent in a fall she’d taken out of a particularly high tree a few weeks back. How she’d survived that with only a few scrapes and bruises she’ll never know. But apparently her tools had taken the brunt of the fall.
She began to wander around the zone. She thought about going to Jae’s to have him fix her bow but….she wasn’t exactly read to face him again. She sighed as she leaned against a wall. At this rate she’d never get her bow fixed and she’d have to find a new way of hunting…or a new occupation all together.
Just as she was about to give up she heard the sound of machinery running. It sounded like it was coming from a few buildings away. She followed the sound, ducking her head under a doorway, stepping into a makeshift garage, much like Jae’s but smaller. “Hello?” she called out. “Is anyone here? I could use some help.”
Family? | Eunji & Kyungsoo
Kyungsoo’s round face peered over an apparently delicate instrument, wide eyes peering down as he unscrewed a part, a piece of metal popping off like a grasshopper, Kyungsoo curiously looking down at it. He had found a strange piece of machinery in an old abandoned restaurant, though as he was opening it, he realised it was an old generator. If he could get it to work… if he could find out how this thing worked, that meant more power for other people. He smiled, jotting down notes as he went so he didn’t forget any parts when he re-assembled the piece of machine.  Damn, he was running out of ink. He sighed unhappily, standing up to try and find another pen or pencil, wondering how he could find some more.

Eunji flopped face-first onto the futon/makeshift bed she'd managed to find in a heap outside of the warehouse when she'd first moved in. It wasnt much but it was pretty comfortable if you didnt mind having to restuff it every so often. It had been a late night for her. She'd spent hours curled up in a branch of a tree outside the walls just waiting for the largest game that came out at night but had only managed to find a few rabits and fowl and then had run into a group of infected. Luckily they were easily distracted and Eunji was able to get away with her treasure and all it cost her was a shiny button off her Military issued Jacket.
As soon as she'd gotten safely back inside the walls she'd gone to the black market to sell her catch and had only succeeded in selling three of the four rabbits she'd caught and one of the six birds. Though meat was scarce these days people were still picky and so she'd given the rest of the birds to a group of kids outside the market and had taken the rabbit home for herself.
Now she was ready for a nice, relaxing day at home. No one ever came out to this part of the quarantine zone and she was sure she would be able to rest in peace without any disturbances. But she would soon find that assumption to be false. She jumped at the sound of the voice coming from the first floor of the ware house. She'd made her home on the top floors to be safe from predators or the occasional drunkard that passed her way. She grabbed her bow and notched an arrow, slowly descending the stairs and following the sound of the rather cheerful, annoying voice that was coming from one of the larger rooms. Locked and loaded she came out of the shadows and stood  blocking the doorway, arrow pointed straight at the irritatingly tall figure's head. "Who are you and why are you standing in the middle of my home?"
Star Struck {Zelo & Eunji}
An hour or so later he found himself lacking good road to ride his skateboard on so he unmounted, grabbed it and kept walking. “I’ve definitely not been here before.” The vegetation in this area was a bit wilder than back near his farm and house. He also noticed an increment in wild dogs. It didn’t seem like this was a concurred area. Zelo’s curiosity lead him to walk through the overgrown grasses until he stepped out onto mild clearing. In the middle of it all was a factory building. “Woah…” It was of a considerable size and despite it’s decrepit appearance it seemed to be stable. “Cool.” Zelo mounted his skateboard again, rolling over towards the building. Once at the entrance he peaked inside through a few gaps on the walls. “Hello?” He yelled. “Anybody here?” Better safe than sorry. He had one too many bad experiences of people sneaking around and almost getting their heads blown by friendly fire. “HELLO?” The echo of his own voice amused him so he started chuckling. “Hello, hello, hellohellohellohelloHELLO!” Sometimes he was so easily amused.

Sensation’s Temptation | Eunji & Jae
Eunji stumbled down the dark deserted street, a bottle of some random alcoholic liquid she’d taken off a smuggler a few hours ago gripped in her hand. She’d used her military issued machine gun and threatened to turn him in, wearing her old uniform to convince the guy she was still a member of that terrible group of people she’d come to despise. But she guessed her old position did have its perks. It gained her anything she wanted and it struck fear in people’s hearts. Which just added to the self-loathing she was already experiencing.
Toda was the anniversary of her parent’s death. This was the day, 3 years ago, that she had sent a bullet into the heads of the people who had given birth to her, raised her, taught her everything the knew about humanity and life. It was her fault they were gone. If she’d been at home instead of becoming a “war hero”, the might just still be alive. Or at least she would have died with them.
She took another swig from her bottle, pushing through a doorway that seemed familiar to her in her drunken state, but had she been sober she would have realized she was stumbling into someone else’s home, not her own. She plopped herself down onto the couch, a loud, manly burp escaping her lips and she chugged down a bit more liquid. It burnt her throat and made her feel numb. Nothing mattered anymore. She wanted to die. She deserved to die. How many people had she taken life from? How many people had suffered from her mistakes? Too man. It was a wonder she even functioned.
She should have been paying more attention. Her senses were off and her walls were down, a rarity for her. Had she been paying attention, she might have noticed the other presence in the room.
