Wait a minute! Mix Red and Mix Blue’s moves are copypasted from Sygna Leaf and Sygna Red’s Venusaur and Charizard! So we at least know Mix Leaf will have Water Pulse and Hydro Cannon as a Buddy Move. We can also expect gauge acceleration, though I’m not sure Defense buffs are on the table, given Red covers those.

In thinking about Mix Blue's kit, I notice he has two competent attacking moves in Heat Wave and Flare Blitz (and Recoil Removal 9, very nice!), which makes me think he's being set up with the ability to cope when Leaf and Blastoise set up rain. Because Red's Grassy Terrain can coexist with sun OR rain, so being stuck with Razor Leaf isn't as damaging for him as it would be if, say, Blue got stuck with Flamethrower.

So based on Mix Blue getting Charizard, and Red already having gotten Venusaur, it looks like Mix Leaf is slated for Blastoise once Mix Blue leaves. Which tells me they’re just gonna lump in Green with Leaf as much as possible, but I’m not ruling out Green as her own separate thing just yet, since her Blastoise would obviously Mega Evolve as opposed to Leaf’s Blastoise presumably Dynamaxing like Red’s Venusaur and Blue’s Charizard. That, and Leaf is a main character, unlike Green, and as Gloria proves, MCs are entitled to multiple starters of their given region.

You know what sucks about Legends: Z-A? We’re probably not going to end up in Alola at all. Like, as I understand it, the reason Zygarde didn’t intervene when Lysandre awakened the Ultimate Weapon is because half its cells were in Alola for whatever reason. Zygarde definitely has a connection to Alola, and we’re likely not exploring that if the game confines us to Kalos.

Someone more tuned into Super can probably explain this to me, but apparently, Ultra Ego turned out to be entirely pointless?!? Like, Vegeta used it against Granolah, Heeter, and Gas, and got bodied all three times, and straight-up DIDN'T USE IT in the Saiyan Battle Royale?!? Like, was there even a PURPOSE to Vegeta learning that transformation?!?

Y’know, after seeing the Ichiya/Anna chapter, I’m convinced that Earthland Nasha is gonna end up a NaLi baby (not to say that there WON’T be a NaLu baby, but I will die on the hill that NaLi needs to happen in order for NaLu to happen). If the women of the Heartfilia line have somehow dodged THOSE genetics for 400 years, then I don’t see Natsu’s genes shining through if Lucy were to have his baby, given he and his brother look next to nothing alike.

One thing I do like about this series, after meeting the Explorers, the kids aren't really fooled by their disguises. Look at their expressions, they're like, "Well, fuck. The Explorers are here too." Compared to how Ash and the other twerps would always fall for TR's disguises no matter how obvious they were.

Also, it seemed like Sidian was struggling in coming up with a fake name lol
