eunseok can’t forget the mornings you spent together, limbs entangled underneath his sheets, your body warmth bringing him comfort well into the mid afternoon after he’d insist you stay laying next to him, refusing to let you go.

his heart breaks when he can’t say those three simple words back to his current partner, he knows it breaks theirs too.

eunseok knows you’re still in the same place he walked out of almost a year ago, he knows you still go to the same cafe you’d showed him while dating and he for sure knows you still sit to gaze at the stars in your small hideout behind his old apartment building. he knows all this because he does it all the same too, never once changing anything drastic just in case you’d think to come back to him.

it’s laughable how desperate he is to see you again, to hold you in his arms or to hear your voice.

he dwells on what if’s, torturing himself with millions of thoughts on how he could have handled that night differently. how he knows he could have just shut up and he’d probably still have you in his arms right now just like he longs for.
