if Aziraphale doesn’t know Crowley doesn’t have a flat anymore, does that mean he just keeps seeing Crowley driving around with his houseplants in the car and never asks him about it? like, yes, nothing out of the ordinary, why wouldn’t he. there is ofc the lack of communication aspect to this, but it’s fascinating how Aziraphale seems to think that’s just a normal Crowley thing to do

People were asking me what counts to help get Season 3 made. And the answer is, 1) people watching S2 and watching it to the end, 2) people who haven't watched Good Omens before watching Good Omens, which very much includes Season 1.
So if you know people who haven't seen Season 1, get them to watch it. And if you are at the homes of people with Prime Video who have never seen Good Omens, this is your chance to introduce them to the world of Good Omens while helping make a statistic that the algorithm people are following.

I was thinking about Anthony J Crowley, as all normal ones do, and how it is that he seems to exist alone outside the dichotomy of Heaven and Hell. Crowley wasn't obedient enough to be an angel, he couldn't toe the party line, he wasn't deferential enough to God or any authority. But he's also not cruel, or apathetic enough to be a demon; he's too soft for Hell.
So what is Crowley? Not an angel, not a demon ("Former demon," he says in s2). But he's more than what he's not. Crowley is outside the Heaven/Hell binary because of who he is, the one identity that sets him apart from all other demons and angels: Crowley is the Serpent of Eden. The snake in the garden was the instigator of choice, the inspiration to humans to use free will. That's who Crowley is, and when he inspired Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge, he aligned himself with the fate of humans.
Crowley doesn't belong to Hell, and he certainly doesn't belong to Heaven. Crowley belongs to humanity.

okay but are we going to talk about the fact that when crowley and aziraphale did the miracle together it set off massive alarms in heaven?? and it was supposed to be the smallest, tiniest half miracle they’d ever done. and it was so effective that they couldn’t give up gabriel even when he wanted to. can you IMAGINE what would happen if they preformed a miracle with all their respective strengths together??? they could shake the foundations of both heaven and hell. i can’t with this show.

I love crowley’s line “saw it in in a richard curtis film” because ok crowley let’s investigate which richard curtis films have you watched perhaps the one where an unlikely romantic match is made in a bookshop (notting hill) hmm??

Crowley, hungover: Please tell me I'm imagining that I claimed I was king of the ducks.
Aziraphale: I would, but then I would be lying to the King of All Ducks.

but if they've never explicitly stated it then, there's probably a reason? and their sexuality is none of our business, just as their relationships. 😭 and idk if they care about people shipping them or not, I just think it's weird as hell and we should avoid it bc they aren't fictional characters. I wasn't actually trying to start discourse either, but I suppose it just happens when you get your opinion out there. I probably won't respond further though because personally it's a little draining for me mentally
My favorite part about Good Omens is that at any given moment Michael Sheen looks ready to climb David Tennant like a tree

hi! thank you for clearing that up. I wasn't aware they made those jokes regarding eachother, and they're fully in their right of course! I couldn't actually tell that your post was a joke - I'm neurodivergent and struggle at reading tone through text! so I'm sorry if I was or came across as rude, I genuinely didn't realize. I just know there's people who actually think that way which is why I get really concerned about it, but no hate towards you of course!! and again, thank you for telling me :)
