At first I thought he had disassemble because the fever was too high (as in, "it was so high his body couldn't take it"), but now I think he separated himself on purpose to get out of Shanks's grip.
It was messy because he couldn't control his powers yet. Not to mention, he was desperate.
(Side note: gotta love Roger just seeing him bounce like a little rubber ball)
It's on YouTube subbed not sure if dubbed is available worth a watch just for Buggy in his shouty screaming glory
I took another break from watching One Piece and I'm just scrolling to my albums full of screenshots from One Piece and I have found these screenshots from a featurette.
It's a short animated video and the only present voice is from Buggy and Bon-chan (Bon-chan doing the voice for strawhats). It was pretty hilarious though the side comment from Buggy.
Both of them were the announcers and Gan Fall from Skypiea is the umpire.
Wahahaha, I was thinking that Buggy was a bit harsh when he questions if Luffy can play baseball but then π he was actually right.
Next stop is Zoro with three baseball bat.
Next is Sanji who almost had three strikes,. The reason was.
Well π€·, its not Sanji if he's not simping.
Then of course as a Zorobin shipper I am definitely joyful that I have found another Zorobin ππ βοΈ πΈ moments along with their son Dr. Choppa.
Zoro missed the catch (and is he using three gloves?), Chopper tried to catch it but the force made him miss it. In the end Robin did finally catch it.
And they defeated the Arlong pirates (confirmed he's using three gloves as well).
Buggy had to quit being an announcer, Bon-chan was happy that his friend won.
I'm searching for other featurettes as well They are kinda fun to watch, though they're a bit harder to find.
I don't think we talk enough about how bitter & angry & abandoned Buggy must've felt at this point in his life in order for him to try and kill Luffy in the same spot his beloved Captain was unfairly executed. We know he cried when the government killed Roger. We know he loved & respected him. We know what he craved for so much of his life was Roger's attention & approval. So him gleefully trying to kill the kid wearing his strawhat & spouting the same idealism has all kinds of really sad & fucked up hidden meanings. It doesn't even seem to be about Luffy at all. It's honestly heartbreaking to think about too much. The clown is NOT ok guys.
