In the first chorus of I Can Do It With A Broken Heart the “I can handle iiit” sounds weird but it’s fine🤷‍♀️ and the “lights, camera, and smile” sounds SUPER WEIRD bc it layers another recording of her voice over the other and I just think that was unnecessary😭 like just make it sound normal and not like there used to be a swear word there.

As someone who is obsessed with the 2003 live action Peter Pan and also is a swiftie I am over the moon that Taylor wrote a whole Peter Pan themed song! I already loved the “Peter losing Wendy” line in “cardigan” and I’m so happy that she wrote a full song and I’m emotionally reeling at the idea of an alternate universe where Peter loved Wendy so much that he promised to grow up for her and then come find her once he became a better person and while she was growing up she waited for him and held onto the idea of him coming back even while she dated other men but by the time he did come back she couldn’t hold on anymore and had to move on😭

And the chorus being her repeating the same thing over and over again is so heartbreaking and it reminds me of “The Moment I Knew”, “he said he’d be here”💔

Any flower experts know what kind of flowers Taylor is holding here in this photo shoot?

I’m guessing they’re some kind of flower that is used during funerals or it has something to do with death. They look like some sort of calla lily maybe.

I got my collector’s edition The Black Dog CD and here are the photo cards it came with and some photos in the lyric booklet that I have not seen HQ versions of online yet.

I wish there was a high quality digital version of the last photo card. I haven’t seen it anywhere online so far.
