Alastor and Lucifer have an argument causing Alastor to storm out to cool off.

Instead of going to rosie, who would give him relaxationship advice, or to Mimzy's who'd try and get him to drink.

He goes to Camilla and Zestiel. Knocks on the big fancy door and tries to not make eye contact.

Being a mother of girls, and a girl herself, Camilla instantly recognises the 'we argued and I don't wnat to talk about it' look Alastor has and brings him in with a Look to Zestiel.

The two are happy to fill the Mother and Grandfather role Alastor needs and Camilla's daughters jump on the chance to be his sisters, getting him icecream and putting on jazz.

Alastor almost doesnt want to return to the mess at the hotel, the suitors and responsibilities, so he stays for a week, decompressing. Only to return to a curfew and a mountian of new rules just for him.

The Carmine's instantly sense something is wrong the next time they see their Alastor. They need to take him back home.

Okay, so I do like to imagine that Alastor's mother was a genuinely good person who dearly loved her son. Not without flaws, but just doing her best with what she had.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut... Have you ever seen/read Tokyo Ghoul?

Those who are familiar may already know where I'm going with this. For those who aren't, the main character, Kaneki, was raised by a single mother. In the early chapters, he only remembers her with glowing fondness and gushes about what a kind, compassionate person she was and how he strives to be like her. As the story progresses, we see more and more of the mistakes she made, like allowing a manipulative, greedy sibling to take advantage of her, but she still comes across as an ultimately good person who just lacked the ability to stand up for herself and say no. But then, much later, we see even more and learn that she actually used to beat Kaneki whenever the stress got too much for her and Kaneki repressed those memories in favor of the ones in which she was kind to him.

Basically, what if Alastor did something similar? Either repressed or outright refused to acknowledge the memories of his mother abusing him and choosing only to see her as this wonderful, kindhearted person? It's probably not too far out there, since physical punishments would have been more commonplace in those days. Maybe in Alastor's head, he scaled down the abuse to just light swats on the back of his head or hand when in reality he was getting cracked over the head with a wooden spoon or beat black and blue with a belt.

(I have a chronic addiction to angst and making my favorite characters hurt don't sue me.)

The theorycrafting recently has been great and gave me some ideas on the next season. Episode 2 of the first season basically established that Vox's power is middling compared to Alastor's, who we're shown is able to hijack modern technology if he wants to.

Except his staff is broken and is noticeably still absent when he returns to the hotel, meaning Alastor might be significantly depowered next season. I think he might not get it back for a while, both so that the Vees can be a more credible threat against a faction full of Hell’s strongest and for that sweet sweet character exploration. Vivzie also teased that we hadn't seen the extent of Alastor's abilities yet, and him having to get creative might be an opportunity to do that, especially with the theories of the Vees targeting Niffty or even Angel.

We don't know if the wound inflicted on him by Adam will do anything yet but I guess that goes too.

I don't think it was so much that Husk gave Alastor his soul in exchange for Alastor preserving Husk's power, but rather, Husk sold his soul for a chance to save his power.

Like, over the course of the game, Alastor kept chipping away at Husk's power base little by little. He won a few souls at first. Then a lot. Then nearly all of them. Then Husk's wealth. Then his territory. And when Husk was left with nothing to bet but his own soul, Alastor proposed an all or nothing game in which Husk could get back everything he'd lost. And then Husk lost that as well.

Like I pictured this woman seeing Sera, who has been parenting her sibling and being a sister to her little boy, would emediantly adopt her and be like "you can be a kid for a bit, also call me mom" and Sera is crying from joy cuz her family is growing, now she only needs to get her new little brother back to heaven to complete her happy family

That typical officer who is on the side of criminals when they are rich but does not hesitate to attack a suspect if he is from a lower class, a misogynist and racist, who blames victims when they report an attack, and who whenever he can does the least since he doesn't really want to work but it is a good excuse to hit someone for fun.

Guy: "Do you remember my partner? I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was a...what do you call them? Overlord? Yes, he would definitely be one"

Alastor: "Ugh! yes, that pig. I'm really not sure I've seen him"

Guy: "That's good, he really hated you for no reason. He was the worst, seriously, if anyone deserves to be here it's him."

Charlie is too happy even though Vaggie and Angel are confused. Niffty just laughs softly.

Dark Forced Family/Overlord Found Family

Hold on a damn moment, if someone in the overlord team was killed trying to rescue Alastor, wouldn't that lead to them being sent to heaven because they died trying to save someone?

Imagine that being the wake up call the Morningstars need that this is so messed up, someone literally ascended to heaven trying to stop them. Alastor has been catatonic past the point of no return and in hindsight was suffering so much up to that point, and now this.

Don't know how Lucifer would react, probably depends on how crazed he has become, but that would probably break Charlie.
