I headcanon the reason Gale is so prickly about people calling Tara a "cat" or his "pet" is mostly because she was his only friend growing up and kids teased/bullied him about it.

"She is not my cat or my pet! She is a tressym and her own person!" (Who chose him to be her friend. Not out of a need for shelter or food or because she wants something from him but because she likes him.)

Anyway, I diagnose Gale with outcast loner child and having no close (human) friends growing up or they probably just let him hang out with them just for his magic.

What do you think a typical Sydrian Christmas would be like?

• Sydney and Adrian definitely have to do the shopping together (mostly bc Sydney has to make sure Adrian doesn't buy anything they don't need).

• Adrian is happy to help with a lot of the cooking, Sydney of course teaching him certain things. Daniella would be there helping and learning just as well LOL

• CUTE BABY DECLAN AND ADRIAN MOMENTS MY HEART

• I feel like Adrian would want to have a party but that's more than likely saved for New Years. Christmas would just be the family (Adrian, Sydney, Declan, Daniella, Eddie & possibly Jill).

• Sydney would probably buy gifts that make more sense. She'd be more focused on essential things. Adrian would more than likely buy toys or joke gifts.

• Adrian making a joke about unwrapping Sydney at the end of the night.

Lissa probably had a right to go "WTF" and demand answers from the Alchemists considering Eddie was being shot it. You know... one her friends and subjects? Like I can understand why she can't do anything about Sydney but does she do anything about the fact that they shot at one of her people?

Yeah Eddie REALLY kept getting the shit end of the stick in basically every situation unfortunately. I'm sure there was something Lissa could have done at that point but maybe she just didn't know the details is my only logical explanation but idk. If she could protect Sydney after she married Adrian I'm sure she could have done something for Eddie.

The good that she added, was them having their own Mori news and media. That was honestly a good idea, it felt very for them but still isolated from the human world. Everything else though, made no sense. Why did she give Viktor, Lissa's speech, why is Christian not as sarcastic and ready to defend himself. Why kill Mikhail when his and Sonya's storyline is a big factor to the story later on. And if she was going to do Bloodlines. Killing him off would not work for Bloodlines. As Sonya and Mikhail's story is a big factor for Adrian and Sydney. Why did she keep Mason alive then, like I get fans liking him but why keep him alive. She just did the absolute most and didn't follow the books at all. Which had great setups anyways. I see why so many fans were angry when she was announced. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she just took away too much. Again, not sure if it was you or another anon that said. She believes her own hype as a writer. Because it definitely showed in the series and she wasn't that creative with it either

Yeah I always imagined they'd have their own news in the Moroi world especially because of the royals and whatnot. There's no shortage of drama there it seems 🤣 But yeah another huge thing that upset me was how badly they did Christian. Like I ended up shipping Adrian and Lissa in the show more than anything (and I don't normally ship them). They did Christian so dirty and made him such a crybaby loser LOL
