jaein’s never been one to beg , never the one to show his disdain toward any task given to him over at the station ── no one expected for him to say get someone else to do it; after all , he took his job seriously ── anything that he was asked , he did . this time , he just really hoped the chief would’ve chosen someone else . an irritated shake courses through his veins at the sight of that stupid smirk on the kid’s face ── just who the hell did he think he was ? ‘ i was sent here because apparently there’s some dumbass running around the station saying he wants to quote - on - quote “ blow your brains out . ” ’ gaze doesn’t dare to break away from dohyun’s while he explains , attempting to hide annoyance behind stoic features . ‘ and as much i’d like to be at home right now asleep ── ’ he grumbles from between gritted teeth . ‘ i’m not getting fired from my job all because i failed to protect the little shit treasure you are . ’
USUALLY WHEN A COP WAS in his office it was because he was being investigated, not because of what the other had just told him. “ you’re going to have to be a bit more specific than that, there’s a lot of people who want to blow my brains out. ” he keeps his gaze from the other, knowing very well it’s supposed to be an intimidation tactic. “ are you sure it wasn’t you ?? you seem disturbed that you have to be here. ” when the other continues a loud HA crosses his lips almost immediately, laying back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest. “ so what, you gotta walk me home or something ?? i hate to break it to you, but make yourself comfortable, officer. i have some work to finish first. ” oh no, he didn’t, but making the other wait and cater to what he needed to do was just too much fun.

"you could always tease mercilessly, or you could give in and have actual pleasure for a whole lot longer than it lasts when you don’t get to touch me and i don’t get to touch you.“ he retorts, eyes focusing on his drink before he takes a sip of it. this was a game they CONSTANTLY played but right now ? haeil was impatient.. he wanted what he wanted & he didn’t want to have to wait. "if you knew what we all wanted, you and i wouldn’t be sitting here having a boring conversation.”
the other’s words fill his ears & he can’t help but to giggle. "well none of the other employees dare to — hence the reason it’s ME on my knees for you and not them.“ the dancer quips back with a glint of playfulness in his eye as he glances over at dohyun. he knows he shouldn’t have wandered into the basement, but haeil’s gained quite a few clients because of that exploration, so he can’t really complain, can he ? "i’ll believe you when you end up shutting the fuck up and use that mouth of yours for better things.” the silver-haired male retorts with a slight scoff, though the second the other grabs his chin haeil’s sarcasm starts to fade ever-so-slightly. "then why is it that we’re still sitting here?“
DOHYUN LOVED TO STRING him along, to see how annoyed and almost angry he got whenever dohyun would walk away or stop it before it went any further. so when the other leans forward to whisper in his ear, dohyun’s free hand moves to is side, holding him close as he allows the other to whisper in his ear. “ i just like hearing you say it, is that so hard ?? ” he hums, thinking about it for a moment. “ c’mon, just say it, just say you want to bounce on my cock like a good boy already. ”
almost instantly he pulls the other closer so that their bodies were basically pressed together, thinking about haeil and what goes on the basement just below his feet. “ hmm you’re the best. helping me, always doing the most to help his boss. you do deserve a reward for it. ” a smirk crawls on his face as he leans forward and presses his lips against haeil’s, kissing him softly with a hint of something more so that when he pulls away a few seconds later the other is craving him again. although he doesn’t fully pull away, instead letting his lips travel against his jawline down to his neck, pressing a few kisses there softly. “ maybe i want everyone to watch. ” he hums against his skin, biting down on the skin softly.

3AM ALWAYS CAME sooner than he expected, the time that olympus shut down for the night and dohyun was usually in his office trying to close everything up. he didn’t hear the knock at the door or the other come in until they were in front of his desk, coughing to get his attention. dark hues move up to find the others eyes, eyebrows raising slightly. “ well, well ...” he sits back in his chair, crossing his legs over each other as a smirk crosses his features. “ i wasn’t expecting to see you, let alone this late. what brings you here ?? ”

' arden leans in then , elbows propped on her knees as she pretends to think for a moment , knowing the answer to his question before the orchestrated dramatics , ’ jun’s better , actually . i’ll be sure to have him call you with advice . ’
“ I’LL BE SURE TO mention that to jun next time —confirmation from me is better than sex.” he laughs, watching as she takes a swig of her bottle, his lips moving around his cigarette to inhale. he hated speaking about his personal life, mostly because there was nothing to tell and mostly because it was supposed to be personal for a reason. no one was entitled enough to know what was going on with him. dohyun smirks at her words, although the mention of xiaosi’s name is enough to send him into a panic internally for a moment — until he realizes that xiaosi and arden were friends and it made sense of how she knew about the two’s rendezvous. “ seriously, how are you still faking it with that kid ?? he’s skittish and a freak. ” how lovely dohyun could be. “ we’re hooking up, it’s not like we’re spending much time together outside of sex. ” was he just denying it, possibly. he lets out a laugh and shakes his head, knowing that the girl was just trying to piss him off. “ uh oh, you’re lying through your teeth. so, how in love are you ?? ”

"no, you aren’t forcing them to be here. you give them the chance they never thought they’d have so they take it as much as it’s offered.“ he shrugs lightly, eyes fixated on the other’s figure. "as if you need that.”
“i don’t expect you to help me, or what i see. though it might be far more off-putting for some of your OTHER employees. wouldn’t want to lose what they’re bringing in, now, would you?” the silver-haired male continues, fingers dancing up the other’s shirt only to fix the collar of it before returning to their place on the bar’s counter. "do you know how many times you’ve flirted with me only to back out of it or tell me to go back to work, dohyun?“ he asks, voice a little lower than before. "you are all bark, love. i don’t think you have it in you even if you TRIED.”
DOYUN LETS OUT a laugh at haeil’s words, shaking his head a bit as the other seems to enjoy teasing him. “ it’s cute to watch you get all excited and handsy only to be left angry and frustrated. the look on your face is magnificent, to say the least. ” and that wasn’t a lie, dohyun loved to tease and tease, get the other so frustrated just to make him wait — it was almost like their own little game. he sends the other a wink before taking a sip of his new drink that had just been delivered. “ i’m a business man, haeil, i know what the population wants. and they want to seem important, so i give them that chance to believe. ”
he lets out a hum as he takes another sip of his drink, whiskey making his body feel all sorts of warm and relaxed. “ none of the other employees venture to where they shouldn’t be. ” he explains, eyes moving towards the door that led to the basement, a place that haeil was familiar with. his attention snaps back when the other fixes the collar of his shirt, eyebrows raising slightly. “ you don’t believe me, huh ?? ” his hand moves up underneath the others chin, tilting his head up so that their eyes connect, dohyuns gaze is filled with lust and longing as he stared at the other. “ you know that i’m a man of my word though. ”

there’s a strange comfort she found in the confines of olympus - it’s because of how accustomed she is to being there . a routine that her family set for her which she felt as though she had no choice but to follow . but now ? arden associated the club with nights of nonstop intoxication & unkept secrets . & maybe the fact her interest in other peoples lives had an overbearing hold on most of the questions she even bothered to ask . ’ who says i don’t already know ? you like to think you’re way more mysterious than you actually are . remember that , ‘ she retorts , watching intently as he riffles through the contents of her bag . in fact , she probably knows far more information than she should considering her chats with xiaosi - ones of which seemingly never hold back on detail . yet arden won’t admit that fact , at least not for now . ’ not my fault you’re boring . ’ she grips onto her purse once again , putting it near the foot of couch she is currently occupying . the softest beam forms at the edges of her lips at his next statement ; it was the closest she would get to prodding information , & at this point it was probably the best she would get . if it meant sparing some information about her private life , then so be it . ' fine . i’ll even let you ask first so you know i’m serious . – go . ’
ANOTHER SWIFT EYE ROLL before dohyun is taking a puff of his cigarette, his legs crossing over each other as the other speaks. “ if you know so much then why bother asking ?? just like hearing the sound of my voice, huh ?? ” he laughs at himself, always thinking he’s more amusing that he is, but hey — he enjoyed it. dohyun finds himself thinking for a moment, he had somewhat of an idea what was going on in ardens life, letting out a hum as he thought. “ is jun as good at eating you out as i am ?? ” he asks but quickly continues “ or has choi had a mental breakdown yet and begged you to get back together and forced you to cut that off ?? ”

"it’s almost kind of mean when you think about it. but hey, it’s paying the bills.”
“i’ve already witnessed one person getting killed, i’d rather not think about having to see that here to.” haeil teases with a soft tone, though he does still worry about his safety after that night. "i get it. just make sure this cover actually stays solid. you don’t, you get fucked over and i lose my job.“ the sliver-haired male continues, lightly nudging the other’s arm with his elbow. "well with such a wonderful invite as that, who am i to tell you no?” the smirk’s returned to haeil’s lips as he speaks, turning his body on the stool to fully face dohyun. "i’ll agree to it, only if you promise to only flirt your ass of with me if you plan on doing something about it later.“
“ YOU KNOW THAT my dancers are my number one money makers, i like to reward you in my own way. ” he can’t help but send him a wink before letting the other continue speaking, nodding his head a bit. “ some people might think it’s mean, but i’m not forcing people to spend their money here, they’re willingly doing that. don’t know if it’s mean or just smart. but then again, i’m always trying to boost my own ego. ”
“ i can’t help what you might see here, haeil. you already know the dangers of being in this place. ” he hums, nodding his head at the other. dohyun cares about haeil, he knows for a fact that if something ever happened, he would make sure that the other was safe. he finds himself turning towards the bar, nodding his head towards him to let him know that the two would be having their usual. dohyun hand finds his way over to the others side, moving to run along his back and pull him in closer. “ i’m a man of my word, haeil, i promise i’ll make sure you leave here satisfied. ”

DOHYUN NEVER UNDERSTAND what the big deal was about hook ups, people tended to avoid him like the plague afterwards — but that also could be do to dohyuns exceptionally closed off and cold nature. dohyun nods his head and picks up the phone on his desk, ringing the bartender that was on the main floor, ordering a drink for jae as well as one for himself before hanging up. “ drinks will be here soon, i’m assuming you don’t have much else to do tonight ?? ” he asks, although he already can answer the question. “ you can relax, jaehwan. it’s just me. ” dohyun notices the others nervous composure, trying to help him calm down a little bit.

––––––– 「 the noise coming from the swarm of people moving around him, and against each other, was almost enough to drown out any words coming xiaosi’s way if he hadn’t been expecting to hear such a familiar voice. “ yeah, well i didn’t realize that collecting all of my own clothes on the way out would mean going on a scavenger hunt through your apartment. ” xiaosi smirked, eyes moving to trace the profile of the taller boy’s face as the flashing lights danced across it. “ you know, if you wanted to see me again you didn’t have to keep half my suit from the other night. ”
xiaosi wasn’t used to coming to the club which such specific intentions –– or simple ones, given that he really hadn’t contacted dohyun for much else besides to return his clothing for once. xiaosi much preferred to tag along whenever an invitation was extended to him and in his own true fashion, see where that took him. it just so happened that more and more regularly, that destination seemed to be anywhere that either he or dohyun figured that no one would be too excited to interrupt them. xiaosi glanced back at the bar already packed with people waiting shoulder to shoulder for a drink, something that he had held off on getting for himself until then. he laughed, already finding trying to make any sort of small talk for once slightly ridiculous, “ sorry if i pulled you away from work, though. it really seems like this place is already falling down without you locked away in that office. ” 」
A CHUCKLE LEAVES his lips at the others words, his eyes meeting the others as he notices xiaosi scanning over his face. “ you didn’t ?? from the way you were taking my clothes off in the car home i figured you’d realize that. ” although to be fair, dohyun was less than careful when he was flinging the garments off, not even bothering to look where they landed. a hum passes his lips at the others words, his hand moving to snake around the boy, press against the small of his back. “ i figured you left it for me to remember you by, a little bit of a gift. but when i realized that it was your socks and belt i figured it’d be better to give them back. ”
dohyun was usually attached to his work, not really taking a moment to tend to his friends who made their way to olympus. even though they meant no ill intentions by visiting he just didn’t have the time. but, it was different with xiaosi, suddenly work didn’t feel as important anymore. “ it’s fine, i’m not really busy anyway. ” although it’s a bit of a lie, he doesn’t really care. he gives him a bit of a smirk, pulling xiaosi in a bit closer so the other could hear him better above the music. “ plus, something more important has my attention anyway. i hope you plan on staying for a little bit. i’d like to get you alone for a bit. ” he hums, his head nodding up to the private lounge he had sectioned off up stairs.

"next time they come, if they even bother coming back, i’ll be sure to let you know.“ even though she was sure she could handle it, having some backup to help was always nice.

❝ it shouldn’t be an issue , i own the place. ❞ nixon’s lips upturned into a sweet smile as he looked down at the familiar patron dining at one of seoul’s trendiest restaurants ; that he coincidentally owned. the waiters around him scrambled to place the tables together —- as he requested. he took a seat that was pulled out for him by a nervous employee ; he’d be sure to tip generously. he then asked for wine that seemed to magically appear upon his request. ❝ i apologize in advance for this strange encounter. there’s a few business sharks eyeing me like i’m a piece of meat. ❞ nixon raised the rim of the wine glass to his lips. ❝ i’d much rather spend my time with you then them. ❞ he said with a wink before taking a generous sip of the cabernet.
DOHYUN WAS ENJOYING THE MEAL by himself, he tried to unwind before a hectic night because once he was at olympus, there was no room to stop. he was surprised when the other made his way over towards him, insisting on sitting — it’s not like dohyun had the most inviting look on his face. “ that’s the last thing i would have expected to hear. ” he explains, eyebrows raising. he brings the glass of whiskey he was nursing to his lips, taking a slow sip from it. a look of disgust crosses his feature at the others wink, shaking his head. “ yeah don’t get too excited there, i have no interest in staying here for longer than a few more minutes. ”
