hey!! i love your art tons, but how do you keep the motivation to keep drawing regularly?

I think that’s a mixed answer. I draw regularly and am motivated to do so partly because I love it, I love it so much. I always want to improve and do better too, and that motivates me some days.

Someone once told me an analogy about creativity being a sponge, and we wring it out constantly. Eventually that runs dry, so the days I don’t have motivation, I trust it’s because I need a break, I need to soak up some inspiration, take a rest - books, tv, films, video games, time with friends. Usually if I do that a little, all the good comes back and I’m itching to draw again!

Billy is treating the little boy in the water very delicately. The boy can’t be older than three, and he clings to Billy, whimpering, scared of the water. Billy soothes him by speaking in low tones; he holds him under the arms and allows the boy the time to kick and squirm, long enough to realize that the water isn’t hurting him, and Billy won’t drop him. Steve sees in real time as the boy calms down, and the two of them glide through the water until he’s comfortable.
