In the scene where it flashbacks to Vaggie being an Exterminator and she hesitates when coming across a child in an alleyway. A child. Exterminators only target Sinners and Vaggie came across a child.

This either means

1)A child died and ended up in Hell which is pretty fucked

2)Sinners can have children but that would technically make their child a hellborn but apparently they keep their status as a sinner.

Either way

Just realizing here

So Charlie in Hazbin says several times that the inhabitants of Hell are her people.

But in a way she’s only talking about the sinners and not the Hellborn such as imps or hellhounds.

So basically the Princess of Hell is only providing housing and a chance of a better life to sinners and then the Hellborn are just left out to dry.

But then again the point of the hotel is to stop the need for exterminations which only targets sinners so I guess this whole point of commentary on class struggles in Hell is void…

Jaune’s fridge strikes again

I wanted to add to this because it made me think about Alyx and how she had already been dead and was closely tied to Jaune in The Ever After. Alyx and Jaune share a moment together in the smoke cloud and she returns to him at the end of the volume to restore him to his old self.

Despite how much Team RWBY tried to follow Alyx's footsteps to find a way out of Ever After, Alyx was more important to Old Man Jaune's story than theirs. And she's another dead girl that adds to his grief.

And he got some new streak in his hair, meanwhile, Ruby went through a suicide arc and came out with nothing physically new. That's such bullshit, why can't Ruby have something as simple as a colored streak in her hair? Or add something to her scythe? Her outfit? Nothing has changed to show she's grown?
