I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.

If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

Your recent post with the doodles made me curious, how would the different sophonts represent themselves in art? Especially concerning non-artists; like how our human shorthand is a stick figure?

But this is also something I doodle a lot. Though they lean towards exaggerating some different traits than humans do, there is immense variety in the style of alien self-depictions.

RTVS Palestine Fundraiser, April 12th-14th

This weekend, Radio TV Solutions will be holding a 3 day marathon fundraiser event for the people of Palestine.

All weekend long, we will be streaming a variety of games and events in an effort to raise money for on-the-ground aid groups and direct Palestinian support campaigns.

The event will not be a traditional stream fundraiser, rather than pointing people at one donation point, we will be suggesting many different support recipients, and you may donate to any of them. You can then submit your donation amount to be tallied into our rough total.

The information document detailing suggested groups/campaigns to support will open up closer to when the event starts, as well as a schedule of events for the weekend. The event will be hosted on my twitch channel, where http://stream.rtvsfundraiser.live/ links to.

Lastly, if you know of any GoFundMe's or similar site campaigns for Palestinians that you trust as legitimate, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with links and details, and I will add as many as I can to the event document.

happy mar10 day. Unfortunately, I am not posting any more super speculative bros here because of tumblr's AI partnership. If tumblr ends this, I will post again. But for now, I have been logged out in protest of it.

I don't think its enough to just roll out an announcement telling users they can opt out of having their stuff scraped for generative AI, the security of art and writing posted to deactivated blogs is uncertain, and artists who miss the announcement or can't use Glaze/Nightshade due to pc specs being too low are also at risk. I don't trust a blog setting or tumblr's management.

I'm sorry, but I can't leave my art to get stolen by people with no morals or creativity. I encourage other artists who can't use AI blocking tools to log out with me until tumblr ends this partnership.

im so glad you enjoy them, I’ve been making them for almost 2 years now and it makes me so happy to know that they’re appreciated- even if I really don’t post them on tumblr that much 😭 here’s a seafaring nomad posing for a picture with their kid.

The mask is both a status symbol (the adult is the leader of the fleet) and functional: it blocks the wind. Belugirins can’t see directly in front of them, so obstructions there aren’t a problem.

This is meant to be post-contact with humans, the kid has had some exposure to human photo trends :]
