Methanol's primary uses do not even come close to "cleaning hands". The screenshot in the OP post lists some of it's various primary uses, such as varnishes, antifreeze, and paints. Some other common uses are in formaldehyde, resin, and various forms of fuel.

Methanol as a skin irritant has nothing to do with being "sensitive". It not meant for contact with skin not only due to irritation but potential for absorption. "Repeated exposure by inhalation or absorption may cause systemic poisoning, brain disorders, impaired vision, and blindness. Inhalation may worsen conditions such as emphysema or bronchitis. Repeated skin contact may cause dermal irritation, dryness, and cracking."

"During the pandemic in 2020, there was a proliferation of alcohol-based hand sanitizers which contained methanol. Exposure to these products, which failed to meet regulatory standards, led to increased harm and death." Methanol is NOT an FDA approved additive to hand sanitizers, hence the recall. And maybe, if you'd pull your head out of your ass for a brief moment of clarity, you could thoughtfully consider which specific demographic of people would be at most serious risk for the accidental ingestion of hand sanitizer or other toxic products. (Children, is who I'm getting at).

The good news is my packages are in the mailbox, the bad news is I was supposed to go for the ride today at 1 to get groceries but I didn't think getting my packages together this morning was going to take until 12:30 pm and I lost too much sleep (and I didn't really sleep good several loud noises from outside startled me awake multiple times) so I'm way too tired to leave at 1 ... it sucks because I'm basically out of everything that could be considered a meal so I've been pretty hungry since yesterday :'| good grief and alas........I'll drink a v8 and go back to sleep I'm so sleepy
