They didn't have a picket fence or the luxury of a mundane 9-to-5 job, but there was a sense of permanence and contentment in knowing how someone looked first thing in the morning, hair mussed from sleep (and Bradley's hands), in lazy evenings of liberty spent on the couch with his feet on Mav's lap, something black and white on the TV, and rowdy nights at the Hard Deck, Mav's heated gaze finding him across the green felt of the pool table as Bradley sat at the piano and ran his fingers over the keyboard.
really enjoyed doing these fanarts though because I used a different rendering techinque and different brushes for each one and it was a cool little experiment

[ID: a digital drawing of Stede Bonnet and Ed “Blackbeard” Teach from the HBO Series “Our Flag Means Death”. They’re shown groggy from sleep in Stede’s bed aboard the Revenge. Stede is pushing himself up on an elbow, lifting a sleeping mask up over one eye to look straight at the viewer with a confused expression. Ed is behind him looking half-asleep, with a sleeping cap on. The scene is lit up by warm, orangey light streaming in through the curtained windows of Stede’s sleeping nook. /end ID]
