Like Wonder Woman One Million?yeah I could see that working as like an elsewords or something.
Here's an old drawing I did of Diana. Was thinking about how she was born of clay, and I feel like DC doesn't take full advantage of how cool that actually is. I'm thinking she could be a neutral glazed, hard clay sculpture or something. (even though ancient greek sculptures were marble (Diana on the right) or bronze, and usually painted)
Now, I was also considering that her origin could be that Hippolyta just straight up sculpted Diana as an infant and was then blessed by the goddesses of the pantheon/they helped sculpt her (each gave her a gift of sorts - Hestia provided the kiln, Aphrodite helped with the sculpting to make her beautiful, Athena gave her wisdom etc. and all bestowd her with their virtues to make her the person she would become, but I wanted to keep some of the connection from her actual origin).
I feel like having Hippolyta go through the effort and struggle to actually sculpt her would be like just an extra bit dramatic or whatnot.
Originally, I thought of this because I thought it would be cool if her suit stood out more, and what better way for than to lay it over light greyish, clay-ish skin. I enjoy the more visibly inhuman appearance on characters like her and Clark (even though I love their canon designs as well).
