Super excited because I joined a writers group that will start doing daily writing sessions in April, and I am so incredibly happy I’ll be pushed to write more consistently.

At this point, I’m trying to decide what to focus on. Leaning toward my monster romance debut tho, a human x gargoyle forced marriage story where two unlikely characters are pushed together and learn to love through that. It’s largely outlined and the first draft is started, but I’ve been focused more on short stories lately. So it’s like, do I perhaps pick one of those to work on? I have a partially written orc romance with breeding kink I could finish. But then I’m also not sure how the writers group will respond to that lol.

Then I also have a new or romance novel idea brewing that could use the attention. Or any number of previous fantasy/folklore/mythology projects I could return to. Idk! I’m just excited to write in a group for a month.

to be a human bride, traded to the brutish orcs across the river in exchange for food. as they hand over a winter's worth of rations to your village, the orcs debate who which one of them should have you. now your family will stay fed while you meet your fate at the hands of your new husband.

the blacksmith steps forward, his body thick and dense from years laboring over metal and hammer. he's in need of a wife, someone to bear his orclings. he would offer a good home, with plenty of coin to clothe and feed you.

he's a quiet sort, who works hard in the forge all day, and can't meet your eyes when he returns at night. he knows you're here against your will, and doesn't want to make it any worse. but you find yourself drawn to him anyway, to the stern demeanor that hides something much softer and more fragile underneath.

he always turns away from you in bed, until the night you turn to him, instead. he's tentative, unsure if his large, strong hands might accidentally hurt you. but when you show him how you crave him, his instinct takes over, and his thick, heavy cock comes to life. that cool demeanor, that stiff and determined self-control—all of it melts away when he tastes you. it drives him wild to drink you up, and then he has no choice but to bury his fat cock inside you.

When an enormous grizzly bear comes out of the woods, you faint from fear.

You wake to strong arms carrying you. A huge naked man brings you to a cabin. When you wake again, there is food on the table, fire in the hearth, and a grizzly on the front step.

it doesn’t take you long to learn that your savior is cursed the be a bear, with only an hour a day as a man. He uses that hour to talk to you, cook you food, teach you to survive in the woods. When the snow falls, the bear curls beside you to keep you warm all night.

You thank him for his kindness the only way you know how. He doesn’t need a human mouth or human hands to bring you pleasure, and you soon spend every night draped across the bed as he mounts your slim form.

When spring planting comes, your belly is full with the evidence of your activities. His cubs grow with the crops. By early summer, you’re too weighed down with your litter to work. He doesn’t care. He can’t wait to meet his children.
