Despite the tension that charges the air, Ganondorf demonstrates a noticeable patience in his listening. He doesn't interrupt the ex-farmhand-turned-hero, instead he grants his enemy the grace of listening quietly; truly considering Link's words as he lays them before the Great King of Evil.

Amber eyes pour into Link, it's not an expression of disdain for the warrior or the words he dares to speak, instead Ganondorf beholds Link with a calculative focus. A subtle curl to the Gerudo's lips, a fleeting expression of amusement for what exactly has just been laid in front of him.

"Then succumb to the nightmare, hero. Take that blade to your throat and finally ease the terror that plagues your soul. If I am so inconsequential, then you can simply give to me that which lies within you and spare yourself any more fear."

Made the mistake of making the joke of how Link (or Navi) can read the Gerudo script in signs erected at the beginning of the Spirit Temple to a friend of mine currently playing through Ocarina of Time.

He then proceeded to suggest, but what if it's not Gerudo script, what if it's Hylian?

Garbed in a resplendent Gerudo robe, Ganondorf stands proudly as the compliment from Nabooru reaches his ears. The tyrian purple fabric cascades down from his strong and broad shoulders, the desert silk and healthy leather dancing seamlessly together thorough the fine dressing. Golden embroidery weaves intricate tales across the fabric, all of it catching the light in a subtle shimmering that demonstrates the master craftsmanship of the seamstress who made the robe.

The robe's wide and open sleeves flow with a majestic grace as a smile pulls at Ganondorf's features in acknowledgement of Nabooru and her words. The rich and deep purple hues, manifested from a dye that is often said to resemble the dried blood of noblemen, symbolizes his authority and amplifies his commanding presence. The silken black waist-sash hugs his broad frame perfectly at his waist, the belt adorned with golden embroidery to add extra majesty.

Typically his usual jewelry, gems, chains and cuffs are forgone in place of his preference for armor. However, in the absence of his gauntlets, intricate arm cuffs and coil bands wind along Ganondorf's thick arms, beautiful pendants made from topaz dangle from well-crafted golden chains.

The satisfied smile on Ganondorf's face only deepens once his eyes meet hers powerful gaze and he offers a deep chuckle of approval, the sound low, but strong in the desert wind.

"Your approval is not so easily won," a soft quip before the Gerudo King draws his attention down to his clothing.

"...I've grown weary of the armor I typically wear. I felt it... necessary to honor our enduring heritage and to reassure our sisters that I am, in fact, proud to be a Gerudo."

Hey folks, 'member me?

I just wanted to reach out and apologize for the radio silence on my part. The new year kicked up and things got super busy super fast.

You see, I've been banished from my own bedroom for the next ten days because I have a team of remodelers tearing apart the bathroom in my bedroom and I must stay out of the way. So, that means I haven't had access to my PC and with all the insanity that's been happening regarding my fried mobo and the fried hard drive, my drive to write, to tell you the truth, has been absolutely murdered. I've been so stressed out lately that complete strangers are starting to ask me if I'm in distress and if I'm okay.

That is a true fucking story.

I just want to apologize for my lack of activity. I'm a little busy and a lot anxious right now and I've let RP kind of fall to the wayside lately... I'm going to try to ease myself back into things and I'm going to start by using my temporary banishment to work on Kafei's bio and tags!
