Ahmed Saad, a Palestinian man who had to jump through an insane amount of loops to get the funds necessary for escaping Gaza, is asking us all to donate to his friend’s family fund.

Mohamed is a hemophilia patient who needs access to medicine and to do surgery on his knees, his 11-year-old daughter also needs thigh surgery (she was supposed to do it outside Gaza in November but couldn't travel due to the border issues). Mohammed’s condition is worsening rapidly and, with Israel destroying the last functional hospital in Gaza, things are looking dire.

Ever since the incident, Brann's guilt about the event, despite having no say or action in the matter, weighted heavily upon his shoulders, making the man becoming almost recluse as it was better to hide physically than show these volatile emotions anywhere. He was still Talon's Loyal Knight, after all. Their Lap Dog.

Because of this, he hadn't been taking the best care of himself, but not in the usual over excursion he would do, no. If one knew his build well enough, it was possible to notice he had almost loss some muscle mass, his face pale and dark bags under his eyes, somehow making his sapphire eyes seem much more vivid. Sleep was next to impossible. Not with everything brewing inside of him.

That's what made this confrontation worse.

Seeing Siren without her mask alone was enough to make him concerned, even most so when she stalked around him. She felt like a complete stranger by now. A stranger wearing the skin of his dear sister..

Brann would jerk away from the feathered touch upon his back, using the motion to put more space between them. Not just anyone gets to touch him, let alone there. And this obviously wasn't fully the Siren he once knew.. Not for the moment..

These words weren't Siren's... They wouldn't be, and yet-

"Shut Up."

It wasn't quite a yell, but the way his hoarse underused voice echoed through the hall was haunting. Final.

"Talon does not keep anyone they deem weak or below them. The standards for their soldiers are high and I would argue that Reaper's are even higher. I am Not Helpless."

The last words were filled with a searing venom he hadn't felt in ages, something new brewing deep in his gut. It made his hands tremble with energy, but he stood his ground. He held back.

Things were much different now. Siren wasn't herself since the incident with Reaper. No, she's far from it. Something - someone - else took her place that day. Talon would tell anyone who asked that "Siren simply became more agreeable." Of course, they'd take the credit for this new...side of her - them. Reaper takes the most credit - which they take great pride in for having their wraith back.

He'd disagree eventually.

Regardless, that has led to the most recent event with Siren. An argument with her found brother, Brann. Well, that's how Talon categorizes this 'interaction'. Really, it wasn't much of an argument on Siren's part.

Ahh, so you're the so-called 'brother' of hers.

It wasn't unusual for the two to be seen together. It was unusual for Siren to be cruel to Brann. She knew how tormented he'd been in life - that's one of the reasons they grew close like siblings.

It was cruel how well she could control Siren's body and voice, could take over, could become Siren. However, as close as the two were it was clear that this wasn't the Siren Brann knew.

Who Brann thought was 'Siren' stalked around him, inspecting him - scrutinizing every detail about him. She came to stop behind him, a ghost of a touch grazing his apparatus. An urge to tear it off overcame her but she decided against it.

Another time.

You're just as weak-looking as I expected.

A small pause before she walked around to Brann's front. It was concerning how this version of Siren walked around so carefree without her masks. No one saw her without them. Her amber eyes stared at him - no, through him. It's like they could perceive every detail about his soul, every atom of his being. Perhaps she could? Her abilities were unique enough to give the impression that maybe she could.

I see where the Wraith gets the nickname from. You're little...but you are no 'knight'. You're more so a...squire.

A mocking laugh left her lips at that.

Yes, a squire. A knight to be. The knight you train under is strong and unstoppable. How could someone like you ever hope to be like him? Weak, pathetic, and helpless like you are.
