It's always good to see other companies keeping that WTF? factor alive in dolly design. Soul Dolls Rabarem. He's been through rough times and needs you to spare a quarter or perhaps a dollar. With those ears his life is sort of like a boy named sue....

I took this shot of my little vampy girl, Isabel. She's a grey skin Iplehouse Lisa. I shot this with a petzval lens from 1880-ish. It's only sharp in the center and focus falls off pretty quickly. I really like the effect and will be starting a new series.....she looks so sweet here but she's quite a murderous little gal what with the bloodlust and all....

Doll Chateau again. Yep they are keeping it real......odd. Sorta reminds me of an alien mating with a Leekeworld tiny in some bizarre acid flashback. Glad to see they continue to keep the avant-garde alive in a doll world full of waaay too much cutesy wootsy nonsense.

Working on a new coffin concept. This will be for Doll Chateau Dolores when he gets here,  in all of his murderous existential ennui. He is the central character in my story, the ball joint in the way that Hans Bellmer thought of it, a point around which concepts could rotate freely.

The future est moi! As I expand photographically I've always played with the sculptural. I saw work by this artist, Shigekazu Nagae, at LACMA last year. While I've recently been exploring textiles I'm now looking to ceramics as a way to expand image and perceptual relationships. This year I created a box, layered with cement that I had added pigment to and then mounted a photograph in it. I loved working with the wet cement and feel that I'll get a similar tactile thrill with clay.

From my recent show at Photo Center Northwest. The world is going through a massive rebuild, destruction to construction and I was trying to capture that energy. Though some say that man is separate from nature, this seems like a natural cycle to me. Not that we aren't alienated from the natural world but we are inherently a part of it and our lives mirror those same cycles.
