Ahahaha wow I was so fucking uptight, I’m just vibing now
Boys, what are they good for?
Is there such a thing as a “nice boy”? The question on every teenage girl’s mind, are there any truly decent boys out there? The answer is yes, in some way or form, most men are kind, deep down, not counting the unfortunately common exceptions. At this point, at least with my gathered experiences (from both myself and my friends), I have resolved that most boys are not worth the time girls spend thinking (and worrying) about them (romantically, I mean, friends who are boys still deserve the same attention as the girls).
Of course, this doesn’t refer to every male on earth, as I am regularly reminded by every man I propose this ver real problem to. “Not all men”. Wow, no way, I’ve definitely never heard that one before. Well done, now what do you want? A gold star? But yes, as much as that statement really grinds my gears, it is 100% true.
However, men aren’t fully to blame for their actions. Boys are raised with a mindset of institutionalized sexism, as are most girls. The simplest of experiences become different for girls than for boys. Most men can walk in the streets alone with no fear at all, whereas the thought of doing that myself sends a shiver through my spine.
To develop on my earlier point, out of the multitudes of girl friends around me, only one has has please thank experiences with a teenage boy. Furthermore, all of my friends’ first kisses have been promptly followed by regret, as they discover the frankly disgusting intentions of the boy they once trusted. Sure, everyone has their flaws, but those flaws should not include lying, cheating and, an all time favourite of men in the modern world, denying all past feelings. If you don’t understand what I mean by that last point, here’s an example most girls are bound to understand: a boy texts you, most likely asking for under pictures and showing obvious interest. However, once you shut him down, he suddenly denies every other text by using common phrases like the following: “fat bitch”, “I never liked you anyway” and so on. These claims are all fake, obviously, but that’s men; they would rather crush a woman’s self esteem than accept a woman’s refusal.
In addition, and this is a more personal paragraph, boys also have a fancy for playing with girls emotions. My personal experiences usually involve the relentless teasing and “winding up” of my fellow classmates. This can include the smallest of things, such as an exaggerated “calm down” or a slightly worse claim like “girls are always overreacting” followed by a gut wrenching eye roll. These seemingly small things have taken a toll on my sed confidence over the years, and I will no longer stand for it.
(Note: this post is merely based on my opinions and experiences and is certainly not directed to every male in this site, as it is just a way for me to express my feelings and to get the thoughts out of my head)

A poster design for one of my favorite horror games, silent hill 2! Inspired by the ending rebirth. :^)

Brigitte Bardot in Rome in 1957. The second one is a little unsharp unfortunately, still it’s a lovely photo.
