Camilla looked relieved that he could understand her, as she brought out what looked like digital dog tags when the matter of introductions was brought up. Her name was written on them on three of the main languages in the system. She headtilted a little in concern about the cephalon and signs, ‘Is that normal for…?’ She trails off as she tries to figure out how to sign the cephalon’s name, but ultimately falls flat.
‘Of course I understand you,’ she signs with slightly exaggerated motions, before leaning back, looking away, and scratching the back of her neck a little at the remark about being lovely. She flails her hands incoherently for a moment as if trying to sign something before signing ‘Thanks.’
Loki leaned forward to look closer at the dog tags, he might not be able to speak but he understood one of those languages at the very least. A rough sounding huff and the trickster straightened back up. Camilla, huh? He quite liked that name, for her at least. He didn’t think it would suit anyone else.
About his Cephalon, though... Nox tilted his head just the slightest to stare at Java for a moment, and the Cephalon remained quiet for a few seconds before making a sound that might very well have been a laugh. A nervous one, perhaps, but one nonetheless.
“AH! YES... THAT IS UNFORTUNATELY... NORMAL FOR ME. I HAVE BROUGHT UP THE MATTER OF SELF-DESTRUCTION OR REFORMATTING WITH NOX BUT HE FIRMLY REJECTS THE OFFER EVERY TIME. - WHAT AN I-I-I-IDIOT - I AM TRULY A BLESSED CEPHALON.”
Nox leaned back and gave a small shrug of his shoulders before turning his attention back to Camilla. She was not exactly like him, was she? Well, at least she was sentient like he was, but Nox didn’t feel much of anything else familiar with her. Was he the only Warframe to reject his Operator? Perhaps he’d never know.
“HMM... YES, YES. YOU SEE.. CAMILLA, IS IT? WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME FOR A BEAUTIFUL LADY - SHUT IT ASSHAT - OH MY... WHERE WAS I? RIGHT! NOX WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU, HE HAS NOT SEEN MANY - IF ANY - SENTIENT WARFRAMES LIKE HIMSELF. HE IS... TRULY CURIOUS.”

Wait, what? Give what back?
Elijah was confused, to put it mildly, and casually reached for his sword laying by his side, wondering if he could get to his Warframe quick enough to adequately arm himself if things went south. Which, judging by the hostile stance of the Loki, things may very well end up going that way. Maybe he could get Nalen to bring Excalibur Umbra out of storage? But that would mean announcing what he was going to do to the Loki and his Cephalon, so that was likely out of the question, that plan of action.
Fuck.
“If I may ask, what is it that I have taken? As I have no idea honestly what it is you’re seeking and I do not wish to cause conflict if I have taken something precious without realizing it.”
The Loki crouched down, placing one hand on the floor as if contemplating just attacking right away before his Cephalon stopped him, informing him through mental communications that he wanted to scan the Tenno beforehand. Nox would be frowning if Warframes had any means to show emotions, but he slipped into a more relaxed position nonetheless - still ready to pounce at any given moment - as the Cephalon floated away.
After a few seconds, Java gave a glitched hum and returned to his Warframe’s side.
“IT SEEMS I WAS MISTAKEN - SOME OTHER IMBECILE MUST HAVE TAKEN IT - AS THIS TENNO DOES NOT HAVE IT. PERHAPS IT WOULD BE WISE TO AVOID CONFLICT FOR NOW, NOX.”
The Warframe seemed to hesitate for a moment - he truly disliked Tenno (well, he disliked the majority of living beings) so it was hard for him to just turn his back on potentially harming one but right now the data was more important and if Java didn’t find it on the Tenno then that must mean someone else had made it before either of them and stole what was his. Eventually, he straightened up and glowered at the Void Child.
“TENNO, WHILE WE HAVE A PROFOUND DISTRUST FOR YOUR KIND, WE WILL LEAVE YOU BE AS YOU DO NOT HAVE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. I SUGGEST LEAVING THIS PLACE OR GETTING INTO A WARFRAME BEFORE SOMETHING HITS THAT FRAGILE BODY OF YOURS - NOT THAT WE WOULD M-M-M-MIND - IT WOULD BE A SHAME FOR YOU TO DIE BY SUCH TERRIBLE - PATHETIC - MEANS.”

Camilla returns the gesture towards the Loki, afterwards signing ‘Can you understand this?’ to check if the other knew sign language. She wasn’t exactly the most proficient with it due to having only learned it recently, but she knew enough to get her point across. Her voice wasn’t exactly useful for conveying information, unless that information was how she was feeling at any given moment, so for now she kept silent.
Camilla knew there was probably an Umbra for every frame type, but whether someone had found their blueprints and recreated them was another matter entirely. She also knew that there were other sentient but non-umbral frames walking about. However, she wasn’t exactly able to tell which the other was at this given moment.
His optics blink once, then twice, before he gives a simple but short nod. He understands, at least for now, but can’t speak (well... sign) it himself. He tilts his head slightly before calling for his Cephalon to aid him by pressing a few buttons located on his arm. The Cephalon pops into view, his voice almost sounding annoyed for a moment before a cheerful tone replaces it.
“W-W-WHAT IS IT NOW, YOU IMBECILE?! - OH, HELLO! I AM CEPHALON JAVA AND THIS IS NOX, IT IS NICE TO MEET YOU. I WILL BE DOING THE TRANSLATIONS - BECAUSE YOU’RE BOTH IDIOTS WHO CAN’T DO ANYTHING BY THEMSELVES - FOR YOU LOVELY WARFRAMES.”
Nox, obviously used to his Cephalon’s corruption, seems completely unfazed by the outbursts, he only hopes that the Valkyr won’t be angered by them. He is in no mood to deal with an angry, clawed, sentient Warframe... Then again, he never is and he doubts anyone ever is or will be.
“I SUPPOSE THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION HERE IS; DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? - IF YOU DON’T IT’S USELESS - NOX THINKS IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO MISS THE CHANCE TO COMMUNICATE WITH ANOTHER LIKE HIMSELF, ESPECIALLY ONE AS LOVELY AS YOU.”

So now that I’ve got this blog started off a little, I think it’s time to clarify a few things;
I use the term Umbra really loosely for my Loki, rather than being like Excalibur Umbra, he’s more of a Warframe that merged with his Tenno. He did this out of spite for being treated like a decoy who did nothing more than get shot at and shoot back at things. So from now on I’m going to add the term Nox (Loki Nox) to the vocabulary of this blog and say that he responds to both Loki and Nox. I refer to him as Loki Umbra because it just makes things a lot easier to understand.
Going back to the Tenno that once piloted him: her name was Arulia and while she, technically, didn’t do anything wrong compared to what the Orokin did, her Void Energy was just nowhere near strong enough to keep Nox at bay. This gave him the opportunity to overpower her and, more or less, expel her from his body while somehow keeping his sentience. Whether that’s due to his deep-rooted hatred for the Orokin, Sentients and Tenno or just because he wants to be seen as something more than just a Warframe, remains to be seen.
His Tenno’s Cephalon, called Java, ultimately decided to betray his Operator and follow Nox, helping him out with whatever he needed; be it communication or hacking interfaces for him. Anything he can do, he will do for Loki. Java is, however, heavily corrupted (one of the reasons behind his betrayal) and his ‘corrupted personality’ comes through every now and then (think Ordis but worse, as he’d never betray his beloved Operator).

The Valkyr isn’t the only one who is confused, Nox, himself, looks confused - how that’s possible for a Warframe is beyond anyone’s understanding but alas - but decides that he might as well take this opportunity to learn more about this other Frame.
He bends forward somewhat in a minuscule bow before straightening right back up and focusing his unseen optics on the Valkyr in front of him. He senses no Tenno inside of her, at least not at this very moment, but she’s definitely moving around - like he, himself, can. Another sentient Warframe?
He now wonders how many there are…

The trickster froze, head tilting to the side in such a way that could be mistaken for surprise but was more a a way to assess the situation. How did this Tenno find him? He was pretty sure he hadn’t left a single trail - after all, he’d been invisible the whole way here. Then again, he really should know better not to underestimate the void children.
Loki rose a figurative eyebrow, accented by another tilt of his head before he rose his hands slightly and shook his head from side to side. Best to play it safe and deceive this Tenno for now, he was here on business to find certain logs and he had what he needed. It was time to play innocent until he has the chance to run off or something, he doubts he could just pretend he was a Tenno at this point or, you know, go invisible and run off. He’d probably get caught very quickly.
While incapable of speech, the Warframe was more than capable of communicating in other ways. He lowered his arms, keeping one hand slightly higher than the other and clicking on a few buttons on his arm. A Cephalon popped up, though it was clearly corrupted much like the Warframe itself, and began to speak for Loki.
“HELLO, TENNO. I AM CEPHALON JAVA AND - T-T-THIS - THIS IS A LOKI WARFRAME, CODE-NAMED NOX. HE DOES NOT TRUST - HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, TENNO. AS HIS CEPHALON, I HAVE BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION TO - TELL YOU HE ABSOLUTELY DESPISES - SPEAK FOR HIM.”
This Loki, Nox, motioned to the Cephalon after looking at the other, as if trying to tell the Tenno that the Cephalon was correct and that he would be doing the talking for him. Java turned to Nox for a moment, focusing on the Warframe intently before seemingly nodding and turning back.
“WHAT IS IT YOU WISH TO KNOW, TENNO? HE HAS DECIDED TO - BE STUPID - OFFER YOU HIS TIME.”
