Okay but what gets me about the revelation that Eren did visit Annie through the paths world was the fact that he considered her one of the important people in his life that needed a final goodbye. 

Jean and Connie were his old friends, Reiner was someone he looked up as a big brother and shared a very heartfelt but messy connection with.

But Annie was someone who he shared a special connection with even when he had to fight her during the FT arc. She was her teacher in hand to hand combat and someone who she genuinely cared for even after she was an enemy. 

What I also love about Annie’s reaction in all this is the fact that she’s crying over the fact that in the end, all Eren wanted was for her to live a long and happy life. He wasn’t the mass murdering psychopath she tried to tell her self he was, and I can imagine that during this entire final arc she tried her best to repress all of the happy moments her and Eren shared together during their years of training, just so it would be easier for her to make the hard decision to kill Eren if it ever came to that.

But the truth of the matter is Eren did care for her. He visited her through paths because he wanted one final goodbye with someone whom he admired and respected for so long, and he wanted to let her know to live a long life and be happy.

And that crushes Annie because she never asked for that. She never asked for him to put her happiness over his if it meant he’s die while she lived. It probably reminded her that above all else, Eren really did care for her..

and she really did care for him.

The Unsung Hero of Ben 10: Greg Johnson

Put this under Rare Facts, but this deserves its own post.

Ben 10 was pitched by Man of Action in 2002, and spent the next three years in development. Heavily inspired by Dial H for Hero, the concept started out as Ben using the watch to dial in superheroes, as seen in some of Steven E. Gordon's concept art.

As revealed in I-10, another version was where he'd use the watch, known then as the Megawatt, to swap places between 10 versions of himself from different universes.

However, according to Dave "Devilpig" Johnson, art director and character designer of the first two seasons, a writer named Greg Johnson came up with the final push that would make Ben 10 what it is: Aliens.

However, his contribution was uncredited outside of being mentioned by Dave on Twitter years later. While I can't 100% confirm this, I believe the Greg Johnson we're looking for is the same one who wrote for X-Men Evolution, another show Steven E. Gordon worked on.

His other credits include scattered episodes of many Marvel cartoons, even up to present day, having written (at the time of writing) 7 episodes of Spidey and His Amazing Friends.

So thank you, Greg Johnson, your idea to introduce aliens made the show into a phenomenon that it probably wouldn't have been without that additional touch.

Ben 10: Popup Trivia/Enhanced Edition Update

Hello, Lost and Found followers! I've done some further research on the topic of these special editions of the episodes, and come to the conclusion that we're actually a lot closer to having them all than we think.

For the marathon, it seems as though there were only 18 popup episodes actually made! First of all, this information comes from the the researchers at the CN/AS Archive Wiki, where they have a partial schedule for that day: April 13th 2008.

As far as the ones we for have properly on record, those are highlighted in green. These are the episodes released on two volumes of DVDs released in Australia by Madman Entertainment, as well as one that was curiously uploaded to Hulu for some reason.

Five episodes we have written renditions of, by other fans from when these aired.

And two, only partially, either by a forum post, or recycled information on a special DVD.

The two that are ruled out had popups added to some of the deleted scenes on the Season 4 DVD. In the case of Don't Drink The Water, one is recycled from earlier popups.

And for all of these featured on Deleted Scenes, the formatting is odd, because the text bleeds really far into the Omnitrix graphic on the sides, while the ones seen in full episodes don't do that.

Bottom line, we're only looking for 7 missing popup episodes, not the entire series!

And all it would take to finish this search, is a tape of that one day.
