Had another one of those days where I felt like playing with pride symbols, and the IDIC symbol from Star Trek just felt PERFECT for pride! If you're unfamiliar with it, it's a Vulcan symbol! IDIC stands for Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations, and the acceptance thereof, and that is something that the LGBTQ+ community really needs to embody!

I see the original post going around every so often and it saddens me a little that it's never accompanied by this thread explaining why it's completely understandable how a child would arrive at these spellings in accordance with english phonetics
(girl with adhd voice) yeah i just love in fiction when a character has a superpower thats also a disability. like a power that changes how they interact with the world in exciting ways but also has terrible drawbacks to their daily life. no real reason why
fun fact: Boston Museum of Science calls their evening lecture series “SubSpace”, which would be a totally innocuous math term except for the fact that, to make sure you know these lectures are higher-level and not aimed at their usual audience (kids), they chose to subtitle it “SubSpace: Adult Experiences”
