half way thru the Kendra ref I figured out you shouldn't shade your reference sheets becuz it'd be hard to tell apart the shading and the actual colors. WHY DIDN'T I KNOW THIS UNTIL NOW

Aw thank you! Well, if you insist, I'm really bad at drawing arms and I would really appreciate some tips for that! ^^
Think of arms as a piece of cylinder that can bend and stretch. That is the basic construction of the arm. To add in the flesh and muscles, it consists a bunch of straight and curvy lines. These lines are important to show perspective and the definition of the arm, whether you want it to be lean, muscular, toned, skinny or average.
Once you get a hang of it, you can experiment and exaggerate arms to match your character!

I really love your art >///
hello anon! thank you so much, i appreciate it a ton :) anatomy is a very difficult thing to draw, i hope you know that. It’s probably one of the hardest things out there in the ‘art world’ (pfft what is this, harry potter?). So please don’t get frustrated if things arent looking right the first time, it happens to everyone and even to artists who have been drawing for years. First we need to look at the whole body proportions before we get started.
heres a rough idea, excuse the terrible sketch haha. Keep in mind its all approximate, every body is different.
so now that we know the proportions, we can move on to gesture drawings!

i?? love the way you draw chub people??? and thin people??? and im having so hard trying to figure it all out and i just??? how do u do it so well
you can find tutorials on thin people Literally Everywhere so i just did chub
tHIS IS SUPER QUICK AND BASIC THO and doesnt cover every body type bc a proper tutorial on this would be long and more in depth than i have spoons for rn but its a little like ?? guide thing i guess idk
you got three basic body frames across the top (shoulders and hips equal size, shoulders wider than hips, hips wider than shoulders) and then how the chub distributes down the side (apple, hourglass and pear)
basically its just like. curves and smooth lines, still following the basic frame of the body. use references to see how fat is affected by gravity and stretching and squashing and stuff cause it helps make it look a lot more realistic. muscle doesnt change much, it just gives you a bigger frame to work on to begin with and makes the overall frame look more solid, so if you’re gonna draw buff chubs id sketch the muscle out first
i thhhhink thats it? i hope this is useful 0:

Hi! First off I really love your art. I'm just starting to practice digital art myself. So, I was wondering if you had a little art tutorial for lips? I absolutely adore yours!
thank you very much, I’m usually not goo in explaining things but I hope this’ll make sense:
- 1st step -
draw a simple line for the mouth, my one is smiling because smiling ones are the cutest x)
- 2nd step -
add color to it, the upper lip is darker than the lower one
- 3rd step -
add some shadows to the edges of the lip
- 4th step -
add some lights & highlights on upper and lower lipcoloring the lineart also helps to make it look more smooth x)
hope that helps a bit :D
