I'm finally dragging this blog out of construction after two years and following an aesthetic consistency *screams*

Just a smol smol thing for my Dragon Age verse for Cissnei: She took as many refugees as she could to safety from the Fifth Blight plaguing Ferelden for free. Cissnei was already making a decent chunk of coin with smuggling and piracy, but in between she would help her fellows as much as she could.

This selfless act was inspired from her family whom after she managed to persuade them to temporarily leave their homestead and successfully escorted them to a temporary residence in Starkhaven until the Blight was over, told her to continue living to the honour of their name. "No matter who you are now, you will still be our little Saoirse. Make us proud, and most importantly stay true to yourself."

The words struck a chord, and the rest was history.

Pain was an old friend for the both of them, and this time was no different.

The Turk hisses as she carries the heavier SOLDIER away from the burning wasteland around them, her attempt at a peaceful end to a sticky predicament ending in an all-out brawl that they came out on top of. But not without their fair share of injuries. When they reached the safety of an abandoned house, Cissnei carefully lays her fellow redhead down with a relieved and exhausted sigh leaving her lips. She props herself down at his side and tears a piece of her white shirt off at the bottom to wrap around Genesis' shoulder wound, hardly a substitute for a bandage but it would have to do. She considered themselves lucky that it didn't lead to any more serious injuries...

"You're heavier than you look..." She whispers gently, making light of their situation before leaning back against the coarse plaster surface behind her. It was nice and quiet, just the way she liked it as the faint sound of wind swept through the abandoned town.

It was cold, colder than normal and with the distress signal disrupted, they would have to make do for the night at least staying where they were. She turns her head and leans gently against the other, making sure the warmth between the two wasn't wasted but also careful not to put too much pressure on the other in case it caused too much pain.

"Think you can start a fire for us?" Asked Cissnei gently, too exhausted to raise herself from her spot to do it. It was comfortable, whether it was because of her partner or because of her legs she didn't want to think about. "We really showed those losers, huh? Always knew we'd make a great team..."

Just wanted to quickly apologise for my absence the past few days, gonna get to reply over the course of the weekend! Needed a breather from the Tumbles <3

As payment for my absence, here's a smol head canon <3: We all know how happy Cissnei is now and how talkative and beaming she is, but Cissnei in her earlier days was a quiet individual, and never uttered a word, choosing only to either write her answer down on a notebook or make certain vocal cues in disapproval or approval such as a grunt or sigh. The reason was due to the trauma that she experienced when her dad was murdered and her mom dying not too long after.

The loss of her family affected her badly, so much so that she refused to speak until she found the peace she wanted. That being to destroy the gang that bullied and murdered her father. At that time, only Veld and Tseng could get Cissnei to speak, but only in private away from the others. That changed when she finally got her revenge (Will talk more about what happened later).

From that point on, Cissnei opened up to the rest and finally spoke to the others finding the justice that she wanted. She was still relatively tsundere with the others, but eventually she blossomed and relented, showing a side that she thought would never come back after years of hatred and mourning.
