i’ve used my mouse for drawing for the past. forever and i still have so much joy with a free art program and a mouse . (firealpaca is beautiful and amazing btw) there’s so much joy in starting to draw doesn’t matter if it’s good

art isn’t art based on how. ‘good’ it is. it’s art cause there’s feeling to it and human feeling to it which is something a generated langauge and image model could never do!!!!! art is sometning with a soul!!

idk. it's never too late to start drawing. get a wacom intuos for 44 bucks and pirate an art program. use the billions of tools available to make it easier. trace 3d models. redraw existing drawings. make an elf and draw her 3000 times. you can do it. and if you are actually unable to hold a pen, dont go typing in prompts for some ai art, write fanfiction or original stuff. writing is art. it has just as much value it just takes longer than 1 second to appreciate

i think that new megan ito being a completely distinct person from megan ito is like VITAL!!!! for my storytelling and interp because. megan ito is in a worse state then dead, she’s gone, she’s static and if she’s cloned right before that impact it removes the impact of her ‘death’, her echoing in the first place

the original megan ito is gone forever and no one who loved her can see her again. only an alternate version that is a,as i kinda like to view alternates, slightly different sight and a completely different person.

her freckles don’t line up the way they should. she doesn’t have that birthmark right by her collarbone. her snaggletooth is on the wrong side of her face.

people who loved her see that stranger with the same face and may try and look for the original megan in her voice, in her eyes, but it’ll never be her. i think it’s haunting in a way

i really like the ‘having some remnant of megan ito’s memories’ that some folks have brought up though. some of that was there. but things went differently and shaped her differently. she’s just…a different person, no matter how hard she tries to be the rifht replacement

discovering the queer country scene has honestly been so healing because most queer musicians i've seen recommended for years i just couldn't really connect with because it wasn't the sort of music i listened to or had investment in and with queer country it's like. yes. this is the language i speak in. this is Fuck You, I Belong Here Too, not just as a queer person in the country but as a rural person among (sub)urban queers, and saying it with a laugh. when will my hometown take pride in me, goddamn it
