It was a quiet and secluded area, well-beyond the palace grounds, that she would venture to feed strays less fortunate than the animals within her own stone walls. Jasper didn’t permit her to travel without appropriate levels of protection, which she found to be both sensible and reasonable - but there were times when those words were as far from her mind as they could get. After all, such restrictions did not allow for the freedom she so desperately sought.

Still, she had been fully-cloaked and shrouded from anyone that might recognise her, at least until she had reached her destination and tugged back the hood. This cat often leisured here, and seemed to be waiting for her to bring along scraps from the Mercurius kitchens each time she visited. 

This was routine for them, now, unlike the voice that called out to here. Ironically, though, her run-ins with this particular Sabertooth mage were becoming more frequent. Hopefully he wouldn’t tell her brother he’d seen her here... 

     “ Oh, Sting-san, it’s you  --- yes, I feed this cat quite often. I didn’t know anyone else was tending to them... I take it that’s what you came to do? ”

Green eyes widened a touch - perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to have divulged unto Rogue all the details of her recent encounter with Sting Eucliffe. He hadn’t been too much of a hindrance, really... hadn’t tarnished any rare blooms or trashed flower beds, as some visitors had in the past. He could have done much worse, his presence had been simply... unexpected.

i still don’t know why they keep giving her Large Badonkadonks when manga Hisui had small tiddies but other than that & the slightly questionable tights... this is SO CUTE

( sidenote:  there is nothing wrong with tig ol’ bitties, it’s just nice to have more bodily diversity instead of all the girls looking like a copy-paste job in terms of their bodily proportions )

sting gazes upon the colorful blooms that surround the palace. a small smirk spreads as he picks a white lily. he admires its beauty & then —- chomp! he eats it. 🌝

She’d first seen him from one of the many ornate verandas in the great palace’s gardens: someone who did not resemble one of the groundsmen or women who routinely helped her tend to the plants she loved so dearly. An auburn brow had arched, curiosity piqued and - perhaps against her better judgement - she would venture out to investigate this unusual individual for herself. Thankfully, as she approached, his identity became more apparent. Though she was not especially close to this particular Saber, she did at least recognise his face. But what was Sting Eucliffe doing here, of all places? With his presence completely unannounced to herself or her guards, at that... 

It seemed the dragon had not noticed the princess whose realm he currently trespassed, too transfixed by a bloom he had plucked from the ample beds of flora she’d lovingly crafted. Hisui couldn’t blame him, they were stunning indeed - although it would quickly become apparent that their admiration for the flowers were borne of different places. The princess watched with equal parts dismay and amusement as he consumed the flower in one swift motion. She ought to be just a little annoyed - the beauty of these gardens was a result of the toil of herself and those who aided her vision - but she could only laugh at him.         “ What are you doing? ”
