For the Love of Stamps is back and better than ever....
Hi crafters,
I’m super excited that we have a brand new stamp launch coming your way! I will be live with 10 new stamps, 10 coordinating masks plus a brand new issue of the For the Love of Stamps Magazine on Saturday 7th October at 11am in a special 2 hour launch, as well as a show later on at 4pm.
Our amazing stamp designer Stacey as been hard at work again on some brand new stamps and masks for you all and you’re going to be blown away by the wonderful variety of the new sets!
As always, Stacey’s artwork is incredible and really captures the themes of the different sets perfectly.
She spends so much time hand-drawing the gorgeous imagery and she puts a huge amount of effort into thinking about how the elements will work together to make the most out of the room on the A6 sets and all the stamps included.
Stacey has created these inspiration boards to show you the many different creative compositions that can be achieved with our sets and get you inspired for how you can use them!
A Good Book
This charming set contains 16 elements, with 5 different book spines that you can stamp side-by-side or on top of each other to create a gorgeous arrangement of books. To set the scene there is also an open book, antique candle and an old-fashioned quill and ink. Use the ornate corner as beautiful bookends and finish your project off with one of the many co-ordinating sentiments.

It’s World Animal Day and we’re celebrating by looking back at your favourite animal kits!
At Hunkydory, we love incorporating animals into our collections - whether they’re cute and cuddly friends, beautiful beasts, feathered friends and all the rest - they always look exquisite in our artwork and adorned with our signature foiling!
With so many people being animal lovers, it’s no wonder that they are a particularly popular theme within our kits. Pets tend to go down especially well - cats, dogs, rabbits, birds... the list goes on. Our pets just give us a source of comfort and joy no matter what, so it’s lovely to see our favourite animals within our cards and projects.
Animals can also perfectly symbolise particular times of the year which works really well for our seasonal collections. When you see cute penguins and polar bears you are instantly transported to Winter and Christmas, whereas cute bunnies and joyful lambs are synonymous with Easter and Spring.
Our most recent animal themed collection is our beautiful Paws for Thought Collection, combining adorable images of cats and kittens amongst vintage homely patterns, a rich colour palette and thoughtful and inspiring quotes, that is sure to be loved by all. The sweet artwork is beautifully realistic and depicts cats enjoying the life of leisure!

A crafter’s guide to... Adorable Scorable
Hi crafters,
Seeing as we have expanded our Adorable Scorable range this year with a crafty array of beautiful patterns, I really wanted to take the time to talk you through the fantastic features of the cardstock and the different types of Adorable Scorable you can get, as well as the many techniques that we love using with the card here at HD towers.
Perfect cards and projects: the journey starts with Adorable Scorable!
All cards and projects start with a base, so every crafter needs the perfect cardstock to set you off on your journey to beautiful makes. As a crafter myself I can honestly say I have never found better than our Adorable Scorable cardstock!
Adorable Scorable’s name comes from how amazing it is to score - the card possesses bendy ink technology, ensuring the perfect score and fold every time with no cracking or feathering.
The 350gsm weight of the cardstock ensures a wonderfully strong and sturdy board, so you can rest assured that no matter what you make, each and every one of your projects will stand firm.
The cardstock is so good in fact, that we use it for all our Topper Sheets and coordinating printed and foiled cardstock in our Topper Sets, so you know you’re getting that amazing Adorable Scorable quality every time.
The Adorable Scoreboard: your ultimate craft essential to complement Adorable Scorable
To make your crafting even easier, our Adorable Scoreboard works perfectly alongside Adorable Scorable to create quick card blanks, more complex card shapes, boxes and other special projects.
The Scoreboard is made by crafters for crafters, jam-packed with features to ensure it’s the best it can possibly be, including increments as small as 1/8″ and 0.5cm, centre-point marking, indents on the top edge to ensure full page scoring and much more.
All the colours of the rainbow, and an ever-growing selection of gorgeous patterns
To meet all of your crafting needs, we have a wide range of different Adorable Scorable selections to ensure you can choose just what you need.
Most of our Adorable Scorable selections are A4, but we do have a great A3 colour block featuring a wide range of colours.
We have colour families, which include different tones of the same colour, as well as single colour packs so you can stock up on a particular shade.
We also have a great variety of mixed packs of Adorable Scorable, with pretty patterns like Marble, Tartan and Confetti, as well as stunning shades like Ombre and Colour Twist, which really give you the potential to get creative with your makes.
Tried and tested techniques
There are so many different techniques that can be used with our cardstock, so no matter what you fancy doing, Adorable Scorable has your back!
I love embossing and debossing the card, because it takes the detail so beautifully and creates such a stand-out effect.
Embossing also looks fab when it’s distressed, and it can give a completely different look to your cards - I love the vintage look myself! You could even use Gilding Wax on distressed Adorable Scorable to add a gorgeous metallic sheen, or heat emboss it with embossing powders and a heat tool for a wonderful dimensional look.
If you love your Diamond Sparkles glitters, you can even use this with your card for a super sparkly finish. I also love stamping the card with our For the Love of Stamps range to achieve unique looks - this works best on our Matt-tastic cardstock.
Matt-tastic - the latest innovation in Adorable Scorable
Matt-tastic Adorable Scorable features the same amazing properties of Adorable Scorable with the added bonus of a matt finish, which enables you to stamp, ink, distress and get messy with your cardstock!
The fabulous Matt-tastic finish is included on our Florabunda and Rose Gold Moments Card Collections, and there is also a dedicated Adorable Scorable Matt-tastic Selection including a range of colours which is incredibly popular!

8″ x 8″ Mirri Pads are here and we can’t WAIT for you to see them!

So as you know here at Hunkydory we LOVE our amazing Mirri card - if you’ve ever seen it before, you’ll know it has a stunning reflective shine which instantly adds a luxurious feel to your cards and projects.
Earlier in the year we introduced A3 Mirri pads filled with gorgeous gold, silver and rainbow Mirri. We love the pad format because it’s really helpful in keeping sheets together, so we have decided to bring you Mirri card in a fabulous 8″ x 8″ sized pad!
