Imagine singing to your f/o. Doesn’t matter how good you actually are, they love your voice regardless. Sing them their favorite song or if they speak a language that’s different from yours, learn a song in their language. They will absolutely melt. You can sing anything you want for them though, they love to hear the sound of your voice. Whether you’re just singing to yourself as you go about your day or singing to them to woo or comfort them, they can’t get over how beautiful you sound.

The urge to call an intimidating or bold f/o a nickname that is sweet, something soft. Maybe it's something along the lines of sweetheart, love, darling, honey, (etc). A term of endearment that catches them off guard, it causes them to blush or get flustered, maybe their usual tough demeanor becomes less obvious. Just giving them that affection and pure appreciation they deserve, a kindness they might not be used to receiving.

One of my favorite character dynamics is "I fed them and now they follow me like a lost puppy". Doesn't specifically have to be because one character fed the other. All that's required is that one of the characters did something that wasn't a big deal to them but was life-defining for the other and unintentionally led to an everlasting bond of loyalty.
