This super cute Lord Nelson Ware Gold Chintz Stacking Tea Set is decorated with gold leaf and colorful floral chintz motif. The set consists of the teapot, creamer, handled sugar cup, and one lid that fits all three pieces. This gorgeous vintage set is overlaid with multi-color floral bouquets of gold, pinks, blues, yellows, and greens on opposite sides of each diminutive piece. The handles and rims are also gold lined. Issued under the trade name Lord Nelson Ware, England, the bottoms of the three pieces are each stamped in black under the glaze "BCM/Nelson Ware Made in England." Vintage Japanese Mini Byōbu Folding Screen –Commemorative/Gift Size Byōbu Screen A vintage mini Japanese 8-panel folding screen. These Byōbu Folding Screens original purpose was to block drafts in traditional open-layout Japanese homes. Samurai lords displayed these screens in their homes as symbols of wealth and power. This screen is a mini gift size version to commemorate a new office, new home or other life event. One side of the screen has beautiful Japanese birds, flowers and trees. The other side of the screen has panels with black and white Japanese sayings. This screen comes with a blue gift box/cover. The overall condition is excellent. No damage or defects I can see. Unfortunately, I do not speak Japanese so I do not know what all the Japanese characters say! Sorry about that.. Maybe you know someone who speaks Japanese and you can ask them.. The turtle is finished in a rich brown wood stain and has a polished smooth appearance. The natural wood grain pop’s through beautifully. The craftmanship is incredible! Vintage Japanese Dragon Trinket Box – Silver Japanese Dragon Jewelry Box Impressive vintage silver metal jewelry/trinket box from Japan. The metal is silver colored. I do not know if this box is actually plated in real silver, or if it’s a silver colored metal. The lid has a 3-dimensional dragon who is holding two Japanese symbols. The sides of the box show flying cranes, other birds, trees and flowers. The detailing on this item is breathtaking, absolutely gorgeous. The bottom of the box has a scale pattern. There’s a small makers mark that says ‘Made In Japan’. The box is footed, lifting the box about ¼” off the surface. The box has hinges and lifted back to open at one time, unfortunately the lid must have pulled off and unattached from the box (looks like it can be re-attached with some soldering if one wanted to repair it). The metal box surrounds a thin interior wood lining. I’m unsure of the age but I believe it’s 1930’s or 1940’s.. I haven’t cleaned this item but I can tell it will shine up beautifully with some tarnex or silver polish. This piece is a rare treasure and beautiful piece of Japanese decor!
