The daughters’ transformation

I think this is Daniela being infected with the Cadou. Notice how she already has the forehead tattoo, which makes sense if the daughters were picked by Miranda. They were likely her followers (or even her novices) at one point in time.

You can also see that this is the bed from the one bedroom we see when Ethan is first captured. My headcanon, at least for my fic, is that the girls share that room. Not because there aren’t enough chambers, as Alcina immediately points out, but because dying and rotting together has left them too attached to be able to sleep alone anymore. 

This diagram also shows that they are infected through their temple, which explains the side-shave and the crack-like spot on their heads. 

If anyone has their character models, it would be awesome if you removed their hoods and took some pictures of what it looks like on all of them!

Though I am not that far into the game yet, you can see this better explained in Miranda’s lab:

Now, I don’t know if her character model shows this once you remove the hat (though I do know the modders talked about a “bald spot”, which they attributed to cutting corners), but it is not impossible Alcina might have a similar scar.
