this is purely for fun and I've certainly been guilty of a few of these things myself in my years of fic writing. don't be weird in the notes and don't use this as an excuse to insult someone's writing.

#making me choose between the description by hight and description by hair color was cruel and unusual torture #Though my “other” suggestion is when a character is refer to as “the *last name* girl/boy” #I’ve seen stories where the characters are referred to as “the *last name* girl/boy” more often than their actual name 😭 #I understand it’s because people are paranoid about over using just names & pronouns #But it annoys me so much. I can’t stand it #The other options are a bit cringe but I’ve clicked off stories because it’s exhausting after a point

Every month is autism month for me!

The narrator, a light skinned person with brown hair, says "You might see some places "lighting it up blue" or sharing puzzle piece imagery this month, but a lot of autistic people prefer to avoid that due to its association with Autism Speaks." Within the speech bubble is a blue puzzle piece with a red cross next to it. The narrator continues, "Autism Speaks sees autism as a disease that needs to be cured and eradicated, which it isn't. So to avoid that, we generally prefer RED instead!" The words "red instead" are shown on the narrator's shirt.

The narrator continues, "or the golden infinity symbol: (it's gold because au is the symbol for gold in the periodic table." There are illustrations of a gold infinity symbol and the periodic table symbol for gold, made to say "autism", next to the text.

Text continues "Not every autistic person celebrates autism acceptance month which is fine! It's optional :)

At the bottom, the narrator wears a red shirt with the gold infinity symbol on it and says "whether you celebrate or not, I hope you have a lovely month." End ID]

#Native English speaker so I’ve got nothing to say except I didn’t know people used them for aesthetics #the closest I’ve ever gotten is using them when I need to censor words (IE: die) and use accented vowels (díe) #because I will chew my thumbs off before I write something like “unalive” or use emojis as word replacements #and asterisk censoring can make some words unreadable #easier to use a letter that looks basically the same but doesn’t register as the same (Because. You know. It isn’t.)

the exact same scenario happened to two totally unrelated people half a world away from each other a few years off

You enjoy this fictional guy I made up for fun?? Whose only content is random artwork or writing made by me and a handful of other artists at most? They have no show/book/game with a large fandom, it's just one person with an art blog?? I love u

I’m so emotional about dinosaur stuffed animals,,, there are these creatures, extinct long before any of us were alive, but we found their bones and their eggs and their footprints. And we made drawings and models of what they could’ve looked like. And we made them into stuffed animals so we could hold them. We made them soft so we could love them. I’m sobbing

saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”

me personally it’s a hard cutoff at 75°F. don’t need anything more than that thank you 🫶🫶🫶
