Despite you following in that traitor's footsteps and taking what does not belong to you, we are impressed you've taken to our power. Hm... // Avenir
I take it in stride. Its a change to be this powerful, to control so much, I only hope to achieve what you could not,

Regardless if I don't understand these trouble you refer to, I will learn of them and rectify the issue.
I will deal with Ruari if he persists to be a nuisance, he has a strange attachment to me. He will be put in his place if needs be.
He is a curious fae...troublesome and a brat from what I have heard of him. But he plans to co-operate between the courts in order to restore the balance and I will ensure he stays on task, this will not be a game to him.
And whilst I don't know your reasons for your hatred for Ruari, unlike you, won't let my emotions get in the way of restoring order and resolving the issue at hand.
What do you feel about Avenir?
Avenir? Well,
When I first met them I didn’t know what to think, I was more worried about insulting them or braking fae customs. And then, after the solstice. I was so enraged at them, they were unforgiving towards Ruari for the trouble he- we, had caused.I knew what I had to do to free Ruari. And I’d do it again for him if needs be.
How I feel about Avenir… its close to hatred, resentment, hostility.
(But as Monarch, I feel nothing but indifference towards them, pity almost.)

I may have taken the throne but I intend to do a better job than my predecessor.
I did what was necessary to solve the issue at hand. You were blinded by your own resentment against Ruari to recognise that there was another solution to the problem he had caused.
Pity is the closest thing I can find to describe my feelings. Perhaps if you had been more concerned about restoring the balance than punishing Ruari, then there would only be apathy to feel towards you.
What do you feel about Avenir?

i. A throne room made of gold. There’s blood everywhere. You are not afraid. ii. Pretend to offer him your mind. Never offer the lump of beating muscles between your ribs. Never let him see the monster behind your eyes. iii. Pretend to bare your neck in submission. Let him curl his fingers around the fleeting staccato of your pulse. iv. Call him love when he chokes you. v. Wear his crown and kiss him. Pretend you don’t taste blood on his lips. Pretend you don’t taste death on his tongue. vi. Kill him when he least expects it. Tell him you don’t love him. Tell him you never did.

Mikleo: Someone once asked me to describe home
Mikleo: So I started describing his hair color, the sound of his voice, the taste of his lips, and how his skin felt.
Mikleo: That was until I realized they expected to hear a place
