Omega didn't trust humans at the beginning of his mission on Earth. He was used to being treated as an employee by Primo and Secondo, who had a less than friendly relationship with their ghouls.

Until he met Terzo.

That sweet, seductive cardinal spoke to him in a kinder way and seemed genuinely interested in him for who he was - not how he could serve him. And besides, he was handsome. He made him feel things he had never felt before and made different desires awaken within him. And one of those was an intense desire to hug Terzo and hear his heartbeat... But he didn't even know if humans had hearts.

One day, Omega was talking to Terzo and couldn't resist asking the question: do humans have hearts? Terzo replied, with a chuckle, that of course they did. And then Omega couldn't contain himself and put his ear to the human's chest.

Th-thump. Th-thump. Th-thump.

Fun fact about me and my dumb fetish: my awakening as a cardiophile was when I was 5 or so, watching Disney's "Tarzan" on the scene when he listens to Jane's heartbeat and she listens to his. I loved that scene so much I would rewind the tape to watch it over and over again.

Now I, a hopeless romantic and Terzomega shipper, can't stop imagining that scene with Omega when he was freshly summoned and met Terzo for the first time. He had never seen a human before and didn't even know whether humans had hearts, so his first inspection of him included listening to his chest to check for a heartbeat. And of course, pulling Terzo close to his chest so he could listen to his heart 💓

I think Phantom’s resting heart rate is very high all of the time. Like they only get to 90 bpm when they’re asleep cause dude is naturally wired all of the time.

Omega gives them a check over when they’re summoned and just….. stares as he’s counting with his watch….. then he makes Aether bring him a pulse-oximeter….. and he’s still staring as Phantom is just chilling with a heart rate 110 bpm.
