How do you make your icons?

I use PicsArt!First I’ll take a simple background and change the hue so it matches the theme of what I’m trying to make!Then, I’ll take the sprite sheet for the character I want to make an icon of, and crop it down to the one sprite I want to use!The next part is optional, but I also like to grab a transparent square border and also add that! It’s a nice, simplistic touch.

Hopefully this isn’t too difficult to understand? I’m not great at explaining things ^^
