I may be a little late on this post and saddened to hear the passing of Toriyama Akira. When I was about 14 years old, I started to collect the original Dragon Ball manga series. I remember when shipment of each book took 3 months to deliver from Japan to Canada 😂. It also got me to start drawing his work and I actually won a high school art contest at the time. First photo is part of my original Japanese Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z manga. My second photo of my recent drawing of Trunks. RIP Toriyama-san 😢

February 19, 2024: My oldest son (kyleplayz2k - YouTube) persuaded me to start and finish off Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BOTW). I am still on the Great Plateau and finished off 2 temples. My first impressions is that I am amazed by the game play of BOTW versus a link to the past and Ocarina of Time. I will track my BOTW progress on my YouTube channel. Lately, collecting for the PS3 has been my go to console and lovin the Sony exclusive games (eg: God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us). Today, I received my Retrotink 2X pro. I managed to get my Nintendo N64 connected to my Elgato game capture and to PC. So far, impressed however the graphics is slightly blurred and not upscaled. My boys and I , we were having a kart battle on one of my favourite game Mario Kart Double Dash JP version. A bit rusty on some of the course maps and getting use to the power slide moves. Had to start at 50 cc engine size and hope to make my way up 😂
