we're very excited to say that the first event of our new revamp will be dropping on the 4th of May!! between now and then we will be appless so all that would be needed to apply would be part one of our app. after that we'd just need a brief intro before the 4th.
in the meantime we'll be around to answer any questions and have lots of new roles we'd love to see filled!!

on the fourth day the late spring day brings a gentle warm sunshine with it, a light breeze in the air seeming to create almost perfect riding conditions. the usually busy rose road has been completely cleared for a stretch to allow all competitors to race past the fields of flowers and orchards towards the finish line. seating had been place along the course for those who wished to watch.
it was the turn of the ruling lord to start the race, a great flag in green and gold waved to signify the start. the race got under way with a thunder of hooves and those waiting on the finish line did so with baited breath to see who would arrive first. the victor being alys mormont perhaps came as little surprise to all those who remembered just how close the northerner came to the win in the westerlands. second place was claimed by jessamyn royce, . not far behind the valewoman aysia tully beat the rest of the pack to take third place.
northerners barbrey ryswell and jory reed were next across the line with cousins alyssa baratheon and alanna baratheon following mere heartbeats later. talisa stark crossed next, easily beating her husband edric stark though he finished not long after. then it was the turn of haku mallister to cross, narrowly beating out bride to be malina tyrell.
arsa stark, drystan baratheon and leo banefort finished in quick succession with tyana dondarrion leading their cousin cassian baratheon over the line not long after. loreon lannister was almost neck and neck warrick waynwood and addam bracken before the westerlander gained the lead at the last moment to finish next, the other two just hairs breadths later.
tarah barathon led the next trio to make it to the end, olynna blackwood just getting the edge over mina redwyne as they neared the line. with most of the competitors now finished it was then the turn of aariyane tarly, eleyna lannister to cross the line and finally brynden lannister bringing with him the end of the race.
winner alys mormont received 200 gold dragons along with a beautifully crafted saddle and bridle. second place jessamyn royce was given 100 gold dragons along with a fine saddle and third place aysia tully received 50 gold dragons and an ornate saddle bag. all competitors were invited to share in a bountiful supply of apples from highgarden's orchards to give their horses.

the sprawling labyrinth of the briar maze sets the scene of the next competition. the bride to be has been giddy for this competition, eager not to just show off what makes the briar maze formidable - but to engaged in a show of brains. the tyrells themselves and those of the lady tyrell's inner circle have been positioned between the hedges to be both a help, or hinderance, towards those in need.
a picnic of food laid out upon blankets at the entrance of the sprawling maze for participants to break their fast. juices of various flavors, prepared meats and cheeses that are the bride and groom's favorites laid out in a spread for everyone to indulge in. as the sun climbed higher in the sky, the soon to be married couple wished everyone luck as they journeyed into the maze with the clue for everyone to keep their eyes opened for markers to help them find their way.
with that, the maze race began.
prince drystan baratheon, becoming a little over zealous, tried to be one of the firsts to enter the maze. the maneuvering of his crutches proved to be too difficult for him, sprawling him flat upon the ground. tyrell guards made to help him up, leading him to sit upon one of the many balconies that overlooked the briar maze with the the lady leona tyrell for him to partake in tea and cookies. the next few to find misfortune were warrick waynwood, elora mooton, and gisele goodbrother. the decision to work together to see if there was a way to check over the hedges for the path was innovative, though, poor in execution. with the waynwood and goodbrother holding elora upon their shoulders, the trio couldn't boost her high enough, instead, finding themselves flat on their backs in the grass.
asha greyjoy, ruling lady eleyna lannister, and jessamyn royce all found themselves in the same quadrant of the maze. passing each other by multiple times, turned about in the same way. each trying to give direction as to how to, at least, get out of the same few paths they'd just taken but none of them finding the way out. olynna blackwood, loreon lannister, celia vance, and merrick goodbrother all managed to get a little further than other participants yet the similar looking paths proved to be difficult enough for them to wind up circling in the same manner as the others.
after an hour's passing, sixteen remained in the maze to make it to the middle. one by one, they passed lord desmond tyrell sitting upon a fountain that had a hint for them each - the paths with the purple flowers wouldn't lead them astray, though few managed to find the aster he spoke of. ruling princess ashara martell, aemma grafton, ruling lady tarah baratheon, ruling lord tybolt lannister, and alanna baratheon all came close to finding their way out of the middle's catacorner but didn't manage to find the segues leading to the outer maze.
barbery ryswell, princess alyssa baratheon, sigrid farwynd, godric stark, and cassia upcliff came close enough to the end of the maze for them to stumble upon aysia tully, who, unlike desmond, sent them in the opposite direction of the end of the labyrinth. they all found themselves retracing their steps to find their way back the desmond in the middle of the maze before they realized the trickery.
marra, drako, and kia of lys all formed a group early into the maze to help them find their way through the winding paths, soon acquiring vickon greyjoy as part of their band. between all of them, they managed to find the exit - though, they were greeted to the sight of prince cassian baratheon, talisa stark, and aariyane tarly seated upon different colored blankets enjoying wine with the samwell and malina. further investigation saw that ser aariyane tarly had come to the exit first, with talisa stark coming in second, and prince having reached the destination right before they did.
ser aariyane tarly received 200 gold dragons and a tome of her choosing as a personal gift from lady malina, lady talisa stark received 100 gold dragons and wine of her choice that the redwynes has generously given, and prince cassian baratheon received 50 gold dragons and a flower crown to wear proudly.
