so our beautiful and lovely (and newly engaged!!) annie @hallowannie came up with some god tier connor and annabeth headcanons! then during a wip game, our chaotic and brave leader ash @connabeth posted some of her own ideas about connabeth here. and here. it revolutionized from there and I posted some ideas here and then memes came along and there’s already a completed fic out there somewhere? yeah. and thus, an Era was born <3

summary: Annabeth and Connor bond over their worry for Luke. The fireworks show is next week and neither is going with anyone. They decide to unleash a series of pranks instead. (Takes place during the summer before Percy arrives)

Annabeth’s favorite snack is Peanut M&M’s.

She’s not sure when or how it became her favorite snack. But they always brought her comfort when she needed it most.

“Hey, Bethy!” Annabeth rolled her eyes at the god-awful nickname. The young camper turned around just as an arm wrapped around her, another hand coming up to ruffle her hair.

“Ugh, noob! Get off me,” Annabeth laughed, promptly shoving Connor Stoll to the ground.

“Ouch,” he said from the ground, rubbing at the spot she shoved him.

“Serves you right,” she said jokingly. She offered a hand, pulling him off the ground.

“Whatcha up to, Chase?” her best friend asked casually, falling into step with her. The young son of Hermes found the daughter of Athena strolling through the strawberry fields, basket in her hands.

“Mmm, just helping pick some strawberries. Thinking, too…” she trailed off, not meeting his eyes.

“What’s going on in there?” Connor tapped on her head lightly.

Annabeth bent down to inspect a ripe strawberry. Deciding it was good, she picked it and placed it in her wicker basket.

Eventually, she replied, “Thinking about Luke.”

guys i think it's time i personally revive my connabeth headcanons. one for the new blog! ok lets go <3

We go back to SoM right and Annabeth has just come back from her quest and she's seen Luke be Evil and Thalia's back and her entire world has been rocked, but all of camp is only able to talk about who the spy is who gave Luke the coordinates is.

And nobody says anything to her bc they've known her almost hald her life! They trust her- of course they trust her, she's Annabeth- but also it feels like there's this weird shield around her and nobody is willing to come any closer

At the time, Annabeth doesn't care. Despite what it might mean for the prophecy, what Luke intended- Thalia is back! She's back and Annabeth's missed her so much and now she gets to show her around camp so who cares if nobody wants to talk to her except Clarisse and Silena.

Anyway then Thalia leaves and joins the hunt and Percy always feels like he's hiding smth from her so she seeks out an old friend.

So before BotL she's a lil stressed bc Grover's got all his hearings and Percy's been MIA and she misses Connor! So she finds him at the arena and they're sparring and the more time she spends w him the more she realises how empty she's felt without her old friend.

Except Connor's also not really being himself. There was a time when they could talk about anything! When they were both ten years old and too young to train so they only had each other; when they would dare each other to see who could get the most sticky notes onto Mr. D before he noticed or when they'd follow Luke around camp and imitate everything he did just to annoy him

Because when it came down to it-- nobody in camp knows what Luke was like the way Annabeth did-- except Connor. Because while Connor did have plenty of older brothers and sisters, he knew Annabeth had only ever had one-- and he knew better than anyone how special her bond w Luke was

So when she misses Luke she wants to seek out Connor but he's not listening to her anymore. She cries about it to Silena one day bc it's not fair, she didn't do anything to him! and Silena's very gentle w her and she's like yeah maybe that's the issue here. maybe Connor was hoping u guys would be closer to each other at this stage but u seem to consistently choose Percy over him.

And Annabeth's like. well. perhaps. so she reschedules her movie plans w Percy to the next week-- it works out well bc then he can finish his orientation at high school and come back to camp after-- and spends the day with Connor

For some reason, no amount of time seems to ease their relationship. Finally she snaps and she's like dude what is ur PROBLEM with me! Just say it to my face, i can handle it (she can't) and he gets so mad. He gets so incredibly mad, and he's like of course I'm angry with you. You sold out all of camp running after Luke and spying for him and I'm not the only one who thinks it!

This literally has never occurred to Annabeth, who is shellshocked. She's like ?? u think I am the spy? ME? And she's so upset because he's meant to be her friend and now she finds out he doesn't trust her at all. Nobody does. And she's so hurt she runs off in tears.

yeah ik i suck at writing or stuff but i read way too much wattpad throughout my life and mariah carey’s christmas spirit took over me so

✨connabeth christmas headcanons✨

i apologise for the eye cancer in advance

first of all these little bitches definetely put some type of weird ass shit on the christmas tree

connor definetely tried to convince annabeth to put weed in the christmas tree at least once but that was a bit too much

depressed annabeth bc she misses magnus her fam

connor singing christmas songs to cheer her up

apollo kids trying to shoot connor

all i want for christmas is you is the alarm

they stop by the lake before breakfast, stand on the frozen ice and play to push each other until one of them falls because the ice breaks

it’s usually connor

then they just go pick breakfast and some blankets because the splash made annabeth be soaking wet too

they are cuddling very close to each other because they are cold

travis found out about this and has a collage of pictures of the two of them cuddling being very close and pictures of connor falling into the water

annabeth stays over at the hermes cabin. her bed is next to travis and connor’s bunk and under luke’s bed

“hey connor have you seen my- gO TO THE FUCKING BATHROOM I AM NOT MENTALLY PREPARED TO SEE YOU NAKED” “wHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY ‘NOT MENTALLY PREPARED’??”

somehow mistletoe appears between annabeth and connor’s beds every single year

it was luke and thats the only good thing he ever did

the mistletoe disappears every single year and no one knows who tf takes it away

they play videogames every single night and everyone just straight up hates them for that

they’ve woken up all cuddly a couple of times and none of them rlly moved until travis started messing with them for that

travis all of a sudden has no clothes other than his pijama

many campers = many pranks

they meet in what is now the rachel’s cave to plan the pranks or behind a random cabin

annabeth paints in the snow and he just straight up watches her instead of the plan bc the snow in the back fits just perfectly with her hair and her smile

connor is a simp for annabeth’s eyes lightened up by the fire

luke clears them up from training

or they do snowball fights

or they just go to the strawberry fields and just wrap a blanket around both of them while annabeth fidgets with connor’s fingers

head counselor dinners after the actual dinner + the stolls cause they sneak out of their cabin

silena being the biggest connabeth shipper

“connor what do you think of annabeth’s lipstick?” “im not even using lip- why are you pointing at me with a knife silena”

they slowdance bc everyone else is doing it luke is just standing there like 🧍🏼 and clarisse is lostening to all the things she said

they are the awkward duo bc luke left a while ago and clarisse left like five mins later after they started dancing so there’s silena and charlie and travis and katie acting all cute and they are just like oh so tomatoes

they wanna be all cute and stuff but it’s kinda hard when they think the other one has no romantic feels for them at all

silena is about to cast a spell on them cause how can they be that oblivious

they just enjoy being with the rest like a family tho but if they could just kiss that’d make the night pefect

so then the two other leave cause they wanna be alone and they’re left alone watching the fireworks charlie made

connor’s hand accidentally slips over hers

annabeth cuddles against him so he just moves his arm so it’s around her and they’re just being cute while watching the fireworks

connor strongly considers kissing her because she looks so good with her shiny grey eyes and her perfect nose and lips and she is just sp charming and he cant stop looking at her even though he has insane fireworks in front of him

annabeth is too busy thinking he doesn’t like her back because he didnt really do any type of moves to realise how he is staring at her

they never really adress it bc they think the other one was just confused or they just create random excuses inside their head

but it happens every single summer. in different ways, maybe connor laying his head on her lap while holding her hand or something like that, but they go through this type of situations every single chirstmas

silena and luke and travis are so tired of hearing how the two of them are all cuddly during christmas but then wont address it bc they are too stupid

they love to losten to them tho but why cant they just realise they have feelings for eachother

it all changes when oercy arrives

first of all annabeth is missing the first summer so connor spends christmas alond

he is so fucking mad at percy because he was the one that convinced her to leave but at the same time he’s happy she’s having a good time with her family because she looks so happy and her eyes are all shiny and cute when that happens and he just loves it

but she’s not there

from then on she stays at camp but it’s different

percy is never there but it feels as if he was actually present

annabeth isnt as cuddly as before

she is still his best friend but they are not like what they used to be like

and he knows exactly why

and he hates it

and he hates himself for not realising earlier that annabeth actually liked him back
