A small headcanon about Dick that I think about that I think no one else care about:

Dick doesn’t put as much weight into hand holding as he does into holding someone’s wrist. This is, of course, a holdover from his circus days as a trapeze artists – grabbing onto each others’ wrist meant that you were putting your life completely into another person’s hands. It was a promise, it was a huge gesture of trust, it was love and care and everything in-between.

So, if Dick holds a character's wrist, it’s the same thing as saying “i-love-you”, “i-have-you”, “i-won’t-let-you-fall”, “let-me-catch-you”, “i-know-you-won’t-let-me-fall” and a whole host of other things that have more weight. Will he hold someone’s hands? Sure. But it’s not as important to him as holding someone else’s wrist(s) or when someone else holds his wrists, and if he does, that character should know that he’s there for them in every single way possible.

ExCUSE me, Dick thinking that maybe he should have brought Damian with him instead of staying with, but didn't because he didn't think he was ready to be a dad, like he was probably younger than Bruce was when he took Dick in and even they had such a rough ride, could he put Damian through that? or worse? when Damian had already been through so much in his young life? like sure Dick had lost his parents but he hadn't been trained to be an assassin all his life? but still Dick THOUGHT ABOUT IT and I am going to go throw up from feelings about how much Dick loves that kid.
