I love the new Obeka, really cool design looks really fun to try to build around. I hate that every time I’ve played against somebody playing the new obeka, they tried to tell me it gives them two whole ass extra turns when it deals combat damage

Standard is miserable. It’s been miserable since like 2019. Why is WotC insistent on a braindead ramp deck and W/x aggro ALWAYS being the best decks. There was one little brief 4-5 month period where something that wasn’t one of those two things got to be the best deck and they banned all of its key pieces and brought it down to tier 2 at best. It’s so fucking stupid.

Magic players are so funny to me"This game died back WotC released X", whether it's planeswalkers, getting rid of damage using the stack or w/e. I need you people to quit acting like there was a golden age of magic. If you ask 10 different players what the golden age of magic was, you'll get 10 different answers because everyone thinks the "Golden age of magic" is whatever standard they REALLY got into the game during.

So like, I'm really not a huge fan of the whole "non-magic characters being magic cards" thing, but at the end of the day cards are cards, and I've never REALLY cared about the story/lore. Rhe Doctor Who set has a lot of really powerful and fun stuff in it. My personal favorite is the sixth doctor. It's so stupid with planeswalkers.

I love those tumblr threads where the first person makes a vague post like "I am extremely sleep-deprived, should not be at work in this condition, and I will fuck technology itself. Behold man about to become a machine." And then someone replies something along the lines of "me when I am a simple engineer in [country that does not exist anymore] at [extremely specifically precise date] about to have a nice day at work."

And you gotta do some googling and find a wikipedia page about some poor fucker in like the 1800s who would not have gone down in history if it weren't for the way he got sucked into a horrible industrial machine dick first.

Guess this is why sometimes you get asked in the games if the Pokemon you prefer are "Cute" or "Cool".Captain must view himself as a "Cool" Pikachu since being called "Cute" too much in one sitting makes him break out into sneezing fits.Be careful how you use your adjectives,I think this is also the case for some humans.

If "Pik-Achoo" has never officially happened before this in the anime or something else I think it's now safe to checkmark that now.I can sort of place a party I was at years ago where a father who wasn't truly into Pokemon but tried to be funny asked why I didn't nickname the second Pichu I accidentally had made an egg hatch into "Achoo".
